It’s our 10 year wedding anniversary, and when I look back on all the life changes and growth we’ve experienced throughout our relationship, I’m honestly amazed. To have known someone for nearly 14 years, and to still feel peace, joy, and happiness in their presence, is a rare and priceless blessing.

We’ve both grown so much. Every year has made us stronger, wiser, and better, not just as individuals, but as partners. I’m beyond blessed to share life with a woman who truly completes me. My wife has been the perfect partner in every season. We complement each other, fill in the gaps, and move in sync in ways that feel divinely aligned.

I’m grateful for our three wonderful children, for supportive families, and for the way our vision continues to expand by building new ideas, new ventures, and a growing church together. We’ve created a life that reflects love, faith, and resilience.

The road hasn’t always been easy. From being broke to having our cars repossessed, from struggling to pay the light bill to renovating an entire floor of our house with no real money or plan, we’ve been through the valley. But we’ve also seen mountaintops. We’ve laughed until it hurt. We’ve created memories that will last forever. And from every high and low, we’ve come out stronger, more united, and more in love.

We hold each other accountable. We forgive. We grow. We communicate even when it’s hard, and we trust even when it stretches us. And because of that, this love has endured.

God is good.

I’m so grateful for the woman I get to call my wife. She is kind, beautiful, powerful, and full of grace. There’s so much more I could say, and still not enough words to capture it all. But I know this for sure: the love keeps getting sweeter.

There’s no one else I’d rather go through life with for better or worse, richer or poorer, in struggle or in joy. We’ve built something real, and we’re just getting started.

Here’s to ten years of marriage… and a lifetime more.

Spring is blooming; I feel it everywhere.
In the flowers unfolding outside my window.
In the way light hits the kitchen when I’m cooking something from scratch.

In the quiet strength of my wife, who somehow makes everything make sense.
In the laughter of our kids and the rhythm of our church.

This season reminds me to slow down and actually feel how good things are.

Spring has a way of bringing it all to the surface.
And right now, everything’s in bloom.

So… I did a thing. More like THE thing.

People are often surprised—but never shocked—when they find out I’m a “church boy,” though no one really knows the full extent. People knew it in high school, and they knew it in college, but no one understood the depth of it because I’m not someone who’s all up in your face about it.

Over the past year, after losing my job, I’ve spent a lot of time walking, reading, and reconnecting with the things I enjoy, especially music and filmmaking. I also started developing plans for a large-scale tech project focused on social wellness and hospitality. On top of that, since I had the free time, I channeled much of my energy into my church family and the local community it serves. Instead of staying home, stuck at my desk, it felt great to be creative and mission-driven.

At a time when many churches are going through significant transitions, I decided to do more. For a few years, I’ve been involved in church leadership in some capacity, but today marked a major milestone: I became a pastor of a local assembly. It’s still strange to say, but I love helping people.

That said, I’ve always disliked how some churches and their leaders use the church for personal clout, engage in verbal abuse, foster toxic environments, and lack the love of God they’re meant to embody. I know I still have a lot to learn, but I’m committed to doing things differently—especially in a time when so many people struggle to understand that God is Love.

I hope the church is ready for christian book clubs with DJing, and Taco Tuesday Fellowships. ☺️
