✨ Hidden brunch gem in Beckenham that totally deserves a spot on your foodie list! 🍳☕

🍳 Food: Creamy Eggs Florentine on crunchy sourdough, with a juicy sausage on the side.
☕ Drink: A warm, spiced Chai Latte (dairy-free options available 🌱) — served with the sweetest little bonus, a Lotus Biscoff biscuit.

✨ The service was spot on — they cleared away empty plates straight away, which I loved (nothing worse than sitting with empties while you’re still chatting!).

3 months since I took the plunge and got microlocs! It’s been a journey of learning, growth and acceptance. Learning to love my baby locs and the constant changes as they (veeeery sllloooowly) mature….patience is key but I finally love where I’m at so far!

I stopped waiting for others to make me happy - here’s what happened 👇🏾

I used to wait for someone to buy me flowers.
When it didn’t happen, l’d feel disappointed and let down.

But one day, I realized: Why am I waiting for others to bring me happiness?

I must happy myself!

Now, I buy my own flowers, arrange them with love, and create moments that make me smile.

Showing up for myself has opened my eyes to so many other ways I can treat myself better. It’s not about grand gestures-it’s about setting the expectation to show myself the love I deserve.

I had a lovely time at @heidisrunwell with @shadesofshea_ and my niece!
