I lost my grandfather in my 20s and still think of the feeling of hanging out with him. He lived down the street and had dinner every weekend with him he thought me how to golf, laugh, and most importantly be patient. He was one of my bestfriends & it’s weird you can still feel someone’s presence and what that felt like in your heart. Idk if that ever goes away... and maybe I never want it to? Day dream of him & playing chess together once a day... love yah grandpa, till we meeet again. Hope this song can give people a little place to feel that feeling without any fear.

anyone else homesick for someone rn?

it’s never easy losing someone. lost one a bestfriend years ago, my grandpa. Lived down the street my whole life, taught me golf, chess, and most t importantly how to laugh. he never took life too seriously, and always made time to hangout with me and listen to my life stories. some people will always have a place in your heart that feels like home. If you close your eyes and think of them.. you’re always right back. Hope this song can be a little reminder of that person for you today xx by @itsadrianmitchell
