Improv class end of ‘term’ drink. I started nine months ago weekly and it’s been wonderful to learn how to play again and do things for no other reason or purpose or end, than fun itself. Very therapeutic!!
And I have to say I dragged myself to those first classes for it’s something right outside my comfort zone. Into the unknown….

After many years practicing Buddhism and working with men’s groups, I decided to train as a counsellor, inspired to use these skills and more, by the impact from my own personal therapy. I offer humanistic counselling for those who wish to transform, elevate their lives and live more fully. Online or in person (Central London), £50-70 per session. Please direct message me if you’d like to know more. Website: https://alexgoldingtherapy.com

Nothing is wasted in life. Whatever we learnt, went through, lost, we can be found again. There is a compassion to the universe, somehow, in all that develops. Time helps, and of course support - we all need and deserve it. I had no idea of the skills we develop along the way being out of use later, but this qualification shows me how humans are like recycling machines! Sometimes we can re-use what was broken to create something else, turn it into something better. Each life is a miracle!!

In front of the beach house w me old pal Barry. Serious work out on the beach running deep sand, and core exercises pre-flight. What a treat to have been in the heat! Back to dark cold rainy London! Oh well…. Back soon! taken in Santa Monica Beach by @itsalexgolding

Great day out at TAte Modern. “A World in Common” African photography exhibition. Absorbing talent, feeling inspired, impacted and challenged, richer for learning and experiencing a wider perspective. A reminder to do this more often!! #tatemodern by @itsalexgolding

Great to have been with Mum (and Louis!) recently for a week in LA, here are some pics.

Mum is doing well though her memory isn’t so good, she loves being together with us and is in excellent spirits and stable health.

Precious moments spent together, “the treasures of the heart are the most valuable of all…” (Nichiren). We chanted, listened to Favorite songs, enjoyed the summer breeze and sun, looked at family pics, calls/video with close family, and lots of hugs. She’s such a treasure and loved by all the carers for her bright, warm and sincere spirit. Proud of her. And grateful to brother James who is always there supporting. by @itsalexgolding
