i hosted my first retreat and it was everything i dreamed of! 🥺💗 we engaged in an embodied research experiment into ATTENTION and CEREMONY. let me show you some of our findings :)

facilitation is a DREAM. i am honoured and humbled and moved and delighted and entranced. this weekend was the fruit of the most primary instincts of my inner child, the teachings of my many teachers (people and practices), the devotional missional drive of my life, and spirit beyond and my relationship to it. a total treasure. i am so grateful.

we’ve had school at home for one year!

a year ago i was really missing the classroom, so i made it at home. since then we’ve had 7 editions and 40+ classes! the demo-style classes photographed the best but there have been plenty of lectures and discussions as well.

the past year has been a school in and of itself. the good (retreat & ceremony, hella classes in everything, new rituals and ways to gather); the bad (haircut, 🍄 trip, disability, grief); the major life changes (moving, pivoting out of my tech job, grad school); everything converges and clarifies and builds on itself. i’m humbled by and grateful for the container of school at home which has marked and documented me through these changes.

really quick mark off memory five minutes before gym close. it was just a bit too long for the story but that’s okay. this deserves to live on the grid
