⭐ Lemon Drizzle Loaf Cake ⭐Zesty, zingy, luscious lemon drizzle 🍋 a simple cake but so delicious 💛225gm butter, sugar and self raising flour4 eggsZest of 2 lemons.Baked in a lined loaf tin for about 45mins, fan oven 160For the drizzle:Whilst the cake is cooling,Mix together 85gm granulated sugar and the juice of the 2 lemons.Pour over the warm cake whilst still in the tin, the juice will sink into the cake but the sugar will form a crunchy topping 😍 leave it to cool.#lemondrizzle #lemon #cake #baking #homemade by @itsallaboutthebake.uk

⭐ Golden Syrup Cornflake Chunks ⭐I know we all love to make chocolate cornflake cakes but honestly, these old style golden syrup cornflake chunks are so delicious and one bite takes me right back to my school days, great memories.300gm Golden Syrup 100gm Butter 70gm Soft Light Brown Sugar 250gm Cornflakes Melt the syrup, butter and sugar until smooth.Add it to the bowl which has the cornflakes in, mix well until everything looks coated.I used my Mary Berry tin 31cm X 24cm (lined with parchment) tipped it all in and baked at 180 in a fan oven for about 12 minutes.Leave it to cool ... I then put the whole tin in the fridge for it to set further.Turn out and cut it up into lovely chunks 🧡#goldensyrup #cornflakes #treats #baking #homemade by @itsallaboutthebake.uk

⭐ Victoria Sandwich ⭐My version, with some delicious vanilla bean buttercream, strawberry jam, fresh strawberries and a dusting of icing sugar.The sponge was so light and airy, using @homepridebaking pre-sieved Self Raising Flour @freeggsco@bonnemaman_uk Strawberry Jam@presidentuk butter for the buttercream with @wearesilverspoon icing sugar 😍 For the cake:8oz butter 8oz caster sugar8oz self raising flour4 large eggsI baked these in two 7" tins on 160 fan oven, for about 20-25 mins.Once you've made the cake, you can add whatever you prefer for the filling ...
