It’s been a long, challenging journey to get to this moment, and I don’t take any of it for granted. Through every obstacle, every lesson, and every victory, I’ve learned to trust not my own plans, but God’s path for my life. I am forever grateful to the God I serve; He has guided me to a place where I know I need Him more than ever, and I will continue to follow His steps with faith.

I want to thank everyone who has poured into me along the way, especially my mom and dad. Without their love, support, and sacrifices, I would not be where I am today. To my family—thank you for standing by me, believing in me, and never letting me give up.

Most importantly, I know I’m making my younger self proud. Every step I take is for that little girl who had dreams, who believed, and who never gave up. It means everything to me to keep pushing, to keep growing, and to become everything she once hoped for.

Through it all, I’ve stayed grounded in who I am and in my faith, and I know that every step of this journey has been ordered by God. With a full heart and unwavering trust in His plan, I am proud to say I choose the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. I pray that God continues to guide me, cover me, and lead me toward everything He has planned for my future. 🤍

Another year older, but more than that—another year of healing, evolving, and finding clarity. I’ve learned that not everything deserves a reaction, that peace is more valuable than being right, and that true growth happens in the quiet moments.
