Six years ago, you came into the world during such a strange time, when everything felt frozen with fear and uncertainty. And somehow, you were the light and the calm in the middle of it all.

You are loving, kind, spunky, wildly funny, and just the right amount of crazy. My little Stevie Nicks, my free soul who will wear the prettiest dress and still end up playing in the mud. You never fail to make the people around you laugh, and you have this way of bringing sunshine into even the darkest places.

My sweet little angel, I am forever grateful for you. Watching you grow into exactly who you are has been one of the greatest treasures of my life.

Harsh, but true.

Most businesses lead with themselves. How great they are, how long they’ve been around, what makes them special. It feels right, it feels earned even. But it’s the opposite of what actually works.

Here’s the thing: we’re all the hero in our own story. So when someone lands on a business’s website or scrolls their social and all they’re talking about is how great they are, we lose interest fast.

But if that same business opened with exactly how they can help, we’d stick around. We’d want to know more.

That’s the difference between talking about yourself and talking to your customer. It’s one of the five decisions inside The Clarity Method.

Go look at your website homepage and your last few posts. Are you leading with who you are, or how you help? If the answer is “who you are” comment CLARITY for the guide that shows you how to fix that.
