Thank you so much to everyone who supported me and believed in me, thank you to the one who pushed me to even sign up (you know who you are)!

Thank you @ladiesofhiphop @theeladybyrd for crafting and creating a space to highlight the art of dance in every shape and size. To see so many woman and be in a community full of talented individuals, it was amazing.

Thank you @itssstro , who killed it in top 8 and truly deserved the win. So creative and bringing so much diversity in your movements and how you attack.

Thank you @_fantaye , truly had me sweating! You are iconic and I have so much to learn from you. I am glad I got the chance to dance with you.

Thank you @toyinsogunro , couldn’t imagine what judging feels like but I believe you were honest and challenged me to tap in.

First off would love to thank @arielj.music @sharikgeneve @arianne.meneses @camgradel for truly bringing such artistry and passion to this entire process. Thanks for holding the dancers down and being a force that made the entire process amazing!

To my dancers WE DID THAT! ❤️💃🏽 being in a cast full of queer black and brown dancers was something I’d never think was possible, it’s the reason I never fully believed in a dance career that would look like me, accept me or feel free, but because of you guys … maybe I was wrong. 🥹

To all cast and crew, thanks for such care and bringing a space for creativity and safety to the set!

With all my love, with all my flaws, my mistakes! I still hope for a future that can resemble the light within me. Never forget that it’s in you. Never forget that you’ve come so far. Never forget that you are capable of so much. ❤️🥹

H E A L I N G 🤞🏽

To the person who is doing the dougie with my voodoo doll please stop 😂. This past year has been the hardest year yet! I have experienced loss and shifts/changes that were difficult. But I have learned to face the uncomfortable moments, the sadness, the frustration, the hopes or loss of them, and to face myself.

Healing has been real! It has also shown me I am way more capable than I thought, I am way more resilient, way more bright, and just full of love! And before I’d look around to see what can save me, but now I have found a way to become my own superhero and that’s kinda cool! I thank God for today ❤️ still have forever to go but at least I’m going.
