i’ve heard people raving about trader joe’s this and trader joe’s that, so when i saw they were hiring, i was intrigued. finally, a place where i could put my trading skills to good use! i was ready to make my opening trade, with a little help from my personal charm. 🤝🛒

turns out, their idea of trading was a little different from mine, but i wasn’t about to let a minor misunderstanding get in the way of a potential opportunity! i managed to charm my way into a cashier position, so naturally, i started checking out the groceries… with my mouth. apparently, i was supposed to ring them up, not eat them? 🫣 why yummy looking if cannot eat?

also, WHO IS JOE??? 🤨 AND STEPHANIE??? MY NAME IS BARNEY 😭

in the end, i had to part ways with the joe family. 🫡 i fear i have disgraced the generations of joes before me… 😔 my apawlogies @traderjoes

upon second thought, what’s the point of pursuing employment opportunities when what i really need is a financial miracle? that’s it… i’m officially putting my job search on indefinite hiatus and embracing unemployment by CHOICE. 💅 (the choice was made for me.)

unless the right opportunity comes along… but until then, peace out, suckers! ✌️😎

when i saw @joann_stores fabric and craft stores was hiring, i thought i had to be the guaranteed hire. i mean, it literally had my human’s name written all over it! 🙂‍↕️🧵

that was until i realized the JOANN behind JOANN fabric and craft stores was none other than MY HUMAN, joann. i genuinely thought they were two separate entities that just happened to share a name. 🤡

you mean to tell me i’m supposed to work for this bitch when we all know she works for ME? 🤨 i agreed to help bring in some extra cash, not to get demoted to her subordinate!

(swipe to the end to see my face when i found out who my boss was. to say i was bamboozled would be an understatement.)

i was so desperate for a paycheck that i forgot JOANN’s closed in 2025. 🫣 i’ve seen the accounts, so i really should’ve known better. it seems like the only thing my human and i are qualified to run is a household of unemployed bitches. 😗 so much for my big break…

@ups wanted someone who could handle the whole package… and well, here i am. after all, i figured i was basically an industry veteran by now. 🙂‍↕️📦

i was all ready to secure the “employee of the month” title until i learned UPS stands for united parcel service, not unboxing package specialist… 🤨🫣

needless to say, i got sent packing for failing to deliver — literally and figuratively. 😮‍💨 it seems like my job search has been rerouted… again. 🤦‍♂️ where will this journey take me next?

next stop: @chewy 📦🐾

i heard the chewy shipping department was hiring, so naturally, i took it upon myself to deliver AND be the delivery. 😌📦

as you can see, i CARRIED this look. 💅📦 literally, though! first, i carried the package as the delivery driver. then i delivered with this look… and by delivered, i mean i literally BECAME the delivery. 📦🤩 why settle for just delivering when you can BE the whole package, am i right?

employee of the month material, if you ask me. 😌🏆

well, turns out management didn’t agree because they actually chewed me out for chewing on the merchandise AND becoming the merchandise… 🤨 LIKE??? i didn’t realize that demonstrating what it means to be chewy AND embodying the delivery role a little TOO literally were fireable offenses?! 😭

guess i bit off more than i can chew with this one… 🦴💀 everyone say a prayer for me and hope i can land another job tomorrow. 😭🙏

heard @target needed a helping paw, so naturally, i was determined to be their ideal target employee… 🎯🐾 (or so i thought)

delivery man? ✅
personal shopper? ✅
shopping cart? ✅

i was doing THREE jobs for the price of ONE, hitting every target they gave me… so how did i become the target?! 😭🎯 here i was aiming for a promotion, but all i got was a termination letter 🫣

looks like i missed the mark on this one. 😔 guess i will i have to roll onto next one 🛒

next stop: @fedex 🚚
let’s see if you can handle THIS shipment (me) 😌

in the end, fedex made me its ex because they were fed up with my games… 💔🎾 how was i supposed to know fetch wasn’t part of the delivery man job description? 😒

looks like i’m being returned to sender… where to next? 📦👀

my human saw my influencer earnings and said it’s time for me to find a real j0b 😔

first day at ALDI and you’re telling me i can’t eat ALL-DE treats??? THEN WHY IS IT CALLED AL-DI?!? 🤨 what else would ALDI even stand for then 😭

so, needless to say, i’m back on the job market… i’m gonna need ALL-DI luck i can get 🤞

put treats inside the tumble teez and suddenly nothing else matters 😂

10/10 for keeping him occupied.
11/10 for exercising his problem-solving skills and keeping his brain busy.
barney gives the tumble teez five out of five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

safe to say, the tumble teez has officially earned its spot in the “keep barney occupied” rotation! 🐾

when your human says “bring a gift” so you put your face on everything to remind her who the real gift is 🎂🎁🐶

happy womb eviction day to my human! 🥳🤰🧑‍🍼🤪(although you were technically involuntarily extracted but… 👀) i would say “i hope you had the best day ever,” but of course you did… you have me! 😌🐾
