A definite throwback. This was my very first ever Yellowtail ever. Back in 2014. This guy changed the game for me. I haven't caught one this big since then.

This hamachi weighed 35.5lbs on the scale, being the jackpot winner that day on a packed cattleboat.

All I had was the Daiwa Ryoga 1060HL paired with a 7'11" Shimano Teramar Medium Light bass rod. Epic fight it was and one I will never forget.

California Spiny Lobster Opener was a success! If y'all remember last season from the kayak, man oh man! This made up for it!!

I did not hit limits but I am happy and blessed with what I got. I don't intend on limiting only because I will only keep what I will eat for me and my family. I want to say thank you to my friend Orion for putting me on!
