Two weeks in Italy, through my eyes. 🇮🇹

Rome → Sorrento → Positano → Capri → Florence → Venice.

Two weeks of beautiful places, incredible food, getting lost, getting dressed, catching trains, taking the long way around and collecting the kind of moments I travel for. ✨

Positano gave us the postcard views we expected and a moment we absolutely didn’t.

From the water, we could see smoke rising across the mountainside before spotting the flames below. Then the firefighting planes appeared overhead. Watching something so serious unfold against one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world was an incredibly surreal contrast.

Definitely not the view I expected to capture in Positano. 🇮🇹

Leaving for Italy TODAY and somehow I thought packing for 2 weeks + 4 cities was going to be a calm experience. 😂🇮🇹

Rome → Sorrento → Venice → Florence means I needed all the suitcase space I could get, so I finally tried these travel vacuum bags from Amazon.

And okayyy… I see why people use these. 👀

Adding this one to the Grand Rapids date-night list. 🍷

The Table & The Vine was a curated four-course dinner and wine-pairing experience by The 1530 Events and Chateau Chantal — and this was much more my speed than just “going out to dinner.” 😂

Each course had its own pairing, the atmosphere felt elevated without being stuffy, and I loved that dinner itself was the experience.

DC looked beautiful during the day… but experiencing the memorials at night felt completely different.

From the United States Capitol to the Lincoln Memorial, every stop carried its own energy and history.

We found the guided 3 hour and 11 stop tour through @tripadvisor for a very reasonable price.

Thank you DC Guided Tours for such an unforgettable night.
