Five fur kids plus seven. 🤍 by @itsbiancaness
We are honored and humbled to be in this month’s issue of @megamagazine 🙏 Dianne Mendoza writes: “A collective of visionaries who live at the crossroads of creativity, consciousness, and culture, this group of social arbiters is bound by their passion for Philippine craft, identity, and heritage. Composed of former supermodel turned makeup artist Baba Parma; beauty and style correspondent Bianca Salonga; interior designer Cecil Ravelas; designer, photographer, and artist Jo Ann Bitagcol; fashion designer Jor-El Espina; creative director Luis Espiritu; and wellness guru Malou Araneta, these multi-hyphenates see coremaxxing as a collective yearning for authentic self expression, especially in a world that often feels fragmented.” Thank you @peeweeisidro @stef.inreallife and the whole Mega team for having us. This was such a fun experience! by @itsbiancaness

This year’s edition of Vogue Threads brought us to the 2680 Compound, a hidden oasis in the middle of bustling Pasay City, built after WW2. The complex was re-imagined as a village where each house served as a portal into the worlds of Filipino craft, culture, fashion, beauty and wellness. Adding to the multi sensorial experience were the bites and brews served at the Vogue Café pop up, which was helmed by Chef Rhea Rizzo. Guests were also invited to tune into Vogue Talks, a series panel discussion that shine the light on industry leaders, game changers, artists, and cultural leaders. Vogue Threads 2026 was an invigorating experience that rekindled my love for Philippine fashion. The inaugural @fashionweekasiaofficial brought together some of region’s brightest names in fashion . During the weeklong festivities, audiences discovered the unique visual language that binds and distinguishes Asia as a formidable creative force. I also had the distinct pleasure of chatting with Taiwanese textile artist and designer Sophie Hong (@sophiehong_paris). Snippets from our little tête-á-tête now up on @robbreportph. Congratulations @agcphcorp @applesaberin @archiecarrasco on this pioneering, milestone event. Finally, we have a Fashion Week to call our own👏👏👏 by @itsbiancaness
The pop up space of @dennis_lustico @dennislustico mirrors a designer’s constant pursuit of refinement. His collection, Filipino Luxe, reimagines a contemporary trans seasonal wardrobe that is “unmistakably Asian in terms of coloration, embellishment and detailing. Its Filipino-ness is anchored on craftsmanship.” by @itsbiancaness
This year’s Manila Interior Design Summit (MIDS) hosted a record breaking 300+ delegates. Over the course of four days, participants explored the key design destinations around the metro. The packed itinerary included walking tours, showroom encounters with local makers, and dialogs with the design industry’s best of the best. Conversations throughout the summit explored topics like materiality, craft, meaning, and human experience. They also opened the stage for discourse on the role of Filipino design in building cultural infrastructure—all of which were developed through the lens of Southeast Asian roots. MIDs 2026 was anchored on one clear objective: to define Filipino design and its voice within the region and intentional conversation. PIID’s National President concludes: “Ours is a voice anchored on warmth, hospitality, and humanity. our culture has always understood that about space.” Congratulations to the amazing team at @piid.official 👏👏👏 by @itsbiancaness
Note to self: Remember September ❤️ by @itsbiancaness
In Hiligaynon, Butlak translates to the morning twilight or wake of bloom. It was a theme that summed up the 40-year journey of the country’s longest running artisanal fair, The Negros Trade Fair (NFT). Four decades ago, a group of Negrenses, most of whom were wives of sugar farm owners, mounted the first NTF at the Makati Carpark with only 30 vendors. It was a response to the economic crisis and widespread famine brought about by the collapse of the sugar industry. The first edition has grown and evolved since, but story of the NTF is a lasting testament to Negros’ unyielding resolve, resourcefulness, and an unshakable faith in the promise of a new day. This year, the six-day event, which brings together the best of the Negros Island Region + Siquijor, welcomed close to 80,000 guests. Shoppers queued up for their favorite Negrense flavors, weaves, garments, accessories, decor, and art objects. “Sold Out” was a common phrase posted or spoken even before closing hours. The eating areas became a place not just for meals but also for reuniting with friends and sharing food discoveries with loved ones. Despite the heavy foot traffic, many were glad to come back multiple days to immerse in the festive and convivial atmosphere distinct to the Negrenses. @thenegrostradefair @merry_fairy81 @inagaston by @itsbiancaness
I read somewhere that August is the “Sunday of summer.” It’s that odd even time of transition, when we start looking ahead and well into an exciting BER season. by @itsbiancaness
They are playful, protective, strong-willed, and wonderfully imperfect. Most of all, they are family. 🐾❤️ This August, as we tell stories about 𝙁𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮, 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙍𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥𝙨, we look at the special bond between one fur parent and her pack of Belgian Shepherds—and how loving them means building trust, creating boundaries, honoring their nature, and remaining open to the lessons they bring, often with equal parts patience and humor. Happy 10th birthday @artefinoph ⭐️⭐️⭐️ That was an incredible start to a year-long celebration, marking 10 years of Filipino creativity, craft, entrepreneurship, and fellowship. Last weekend was the 10th edition of the ArteFino trade fair. The upcoming holidays will present something even more expansive. And by resort next year… a haute-r offering awaits. Stay tuned! Honored to be a part of this beautiful community. Thank you for the trust and all the lessons @maritesspineda @armitarufino @cedielv @suzyquiros @marimelfrancisco 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭 by @itsbiancaness
