Fight night is already unpredictable enough… apparently my name was too. 😂

I’m standing there locked in, adrenaline up, ready to go—and suddenly I’m being introduced as a completely different fighter lol! Friggin awesome!

For half a second I really had to process it like… wait, who are we talking about? Arent I up next?? 💀

But that’s the beauty of live events. Things happen. Names get mixed up. Plans go sideways. You laugh about it and keep the show moving.

If anything, moments like this are what make the whole experience memorable and want to continue.

I came to APFC 25 expecting a fight.

Left with a fight, a story, and apparently a new identity. 😂

I’ll take it.

The little UFC thing appears to be getting out of hand. 😂

But seriously—

169,000+ views with less than 900 people following me here is wild to think about.

A lot of you probably saw the walkout, watched the fight, read the comments and kept scrolling.

But some of you stayed.

Some of you have been here way before any of this. Some found me through fighting. Some through the walkout. And somehow more of you keep finding your way over here.

I appreciate every comment, share, message, conversation and person who’s taken a second to see what I’m actually about beyond one video.

I’m still figuring out what all of this is becoming.

Fighting is part of it.
Culture is part of it.
The weird collection of things I’ve done for 36 years is part of it.

And apparently we’re putting all of it together in public now. 😂

I knew walking out like this would mean something to me.

I didn’t know it would mean something to so many of you.

When I stepped out in my regalia, I wasn’t trying to make a statement for the internet or convince anybody of who I am. I was carrying pieces of home with me.

My family. My people. My culture. The ones who came before me.

And yeah, some people had something negative to say. Some questioned me, the regalia, whether I belonged, or just saw an opportunity to be hateful.

Those voices can get loud.

But then the other voices got louder.

Comments and messages started coming from Nations and Indigenous communities everywhere. People told me they felt seen. Some showed the walkout to their kids. Some talked about their parents, grandparents and ancestors. Others told me it made them want to reconnect with their own culture.

Messages came from places I’ve never been, from people I’ve never met.

That’s when I realized this moment wasn’t just mine anymore.

To every Nation, every community, every fighter, every Native kid, and every person who shared this, defended it, or simply told me where you were watching from:

I saw you.

I may never be able to answer every comment or message, but I’ve been reading them. I don’t take any of this for granted.

That night I thought I was making a walk to the cage.

Turns out I wasn’t walking alone.

Thank you for walking with me. 🪶
