How much of a live set is actually planned?

We sat down with @itscalebjay to talk preparation vs improvisation, and how much control he keeps when playing live.

See it in action this Friday, 18th September on the stage at @revolverupstairs 🎛️ taken in Revolver Upstairs by @itscalebjay

CLÔTURE x @revolverupstairs PRESENTS: CALEB JAY [LIVE] + GUESTS

we are back in our favorite club for a fully patched night of live electronics, selectors, hardware and vinyl.

At the centre of the circuit, @itscalebjay brings the machines to the stage for the first time with a full live hardware techno performance, alongside Naarm producers routed through seven hours of indie dance, tech house, acid, hardgroove and techno.

We teamed up with @proponentvfx , broadcasting the night live as it unfolds and giving the crowd a front-row view into the machines at work.

New toon is out today on @reflection.records “Dancing with You”
Been sitting on this one for a while. Wrote it last year with a whole bunch of other music shortly after getting back from euro. Super inspired by the dance scene over there💼🫶

A very special B2B session from Max Glyde & Caleb Jay.

Delivering a refined selection of pure dance floor steppers with the debut live video recording straight from the SINE SELEKTS studio.

Packed with self released cuts, collaborations, slick tech house, weighty low end grooves and seamless transitions, these two Melbourne selektors bring serious knowledge, production heat and undeniable funk fuelled groove energy to the session.
