Mackenzie is one of the first friends I made in when we moved to Santa Clarita! She is wildly talented, incredibly hardworking and has the sweetest 💖!

@mackenziekkoch is a home baker and recently started a sweet treats cart in her front yard! It has practically blown up overnight because her treats are INSANELY GOOD and perfectly priced! 🤯

The Cart is a blast for the whole family! 🚗✨️🏡🍪

Every week she bakes a variety of sweets and posts throughout the week to let you know what goodies you're working with! 🤤💕😍

The Sweet Treats Cart is open from Thursday to Saturday - 10am to 8pm (or until items sell out)!

Nobody really talks about the before and after of an event. The "putting yourself out there" in any magnitude. A party, a meet up, a play date, a coffee grab, networking...any invitation really! It always comes with the risk of rejection.

The stress and anxiety of what to share and what to wear. Or the aftermath of did I do okay or I should have said this instead. There can be so much fear surrounding it all. 🫣

Sometimes the pros in being vulnerable don't outweigh the cons, so we simply choose not to and miss the opportunity to connect on a human and heart level. 👭 💕

For me, it will always always be worth it because of gems like these two! 💎💎 My Homecoming "before and after" BaeBaes!

And what a kissmet moment because I knew these two would really hit it off! 🦩👭🤍

Same Girl.
Same God.

25 gold balloons.

I was baptized on September 2nd, 2001.

It is the day, I proclaimed Jesus is Lord.

Lord of my plans, my will, my desires and my very life. Jesus is my first love, my passion and my EVERYTHING!

Every year on this day, I go on a date with God.

Without fail, for me, this date is bigger than opening presents on Christmas morning! 🤍✨️

The gold balloon is merely me practicing His presence, although he is with me always. It is the way I cultivate intimacy with my Maker and remind myself to walk with Him daily.

For me, it is how I bridge heaven and earth to make God more real. It is how I remind myself that this life is temporary; that my Hope and Home are Heaven.

It is my annual reset and recommitment to Jesus still being Lord of my life, even after 25 years. It is a call to return back to my first love and to trust that His plans for my life are filled with the very purpose in which he created me.

It is how I become more like Jesus and how I offer Jesus to others! Jesus is how I find the strength to do hard things and overcome seemly impossible situations.

Jesus is how I chose to forgive my abusers. He is how I have healed the broken places and spaces in my heart. He is how I have continued to keep a soft heart and choose joy in the midst of pure pain, suppressed trauma and even a miscarriage.

When life isn't fair, when pain feels more present than purpose, when people have failed me and I have failed people, when I feel like giving up...

Hard things are the least I can do to honor Christ's sacrifice for me.

It is Jesus on the cross that has strengthened me, guided me and seen me through.

He is my Lord. He is my Shepherd. He is my Savior. He is my Redeemer. He is my ABSOLUTE EVERYTHING!

I LOVE YOU, JESUS! I LOVE YOU, ABBA! I can't wait to see what this year has in store for us! 🤍🫶🏽✨️
