Man… this is truly a FULL-CIRCLE moment for me. I’m honored to officially announce that I will be featured in Hidden Colors 6: The Culture of Resistance. More than a decade ago, after suffering a devastating knee injury playing college football, I found myself at one of the lowest points of my young life. During rehab, I watched Hidden Colors 1–3, and those films completely changed the direction of my life. They helped me realize that I was bigger than football and sent me on a journey into Black history, research, writing, and eventually creating Voice of the Ancestors. Around 2015, I remember telling myself, “One day, I’m going to be in Hidden Colors.” At the time, that became my new NFL dream. Now, all these years later, that dream has become reality. For me, this feels like finally walking across the stage and getting drafted by my hometown team. 🙏🏿

Special salute and THANK YOU to Brother @tariqelite for creating this legendary series and for giving me the opportunity to contribute to this chapter of our history. And thank you to EVERYBODY who has supported me along this journey, from buying a book, sharing a post, watching a video, leaving a review, or simply telling somebody about my work. None of this happens without the people. Hidden Colors 6 begins its theatrical run November 4, with the ATLANTA screening taking place November 5. I hope to see the family in the theaters! ✊🏿🔥

It’s been a long time coming family, more than 11 years ago I came into consciousness fresh off a knee injury that ended my football career. I was depressed and downtrodden until by happen chance I came across the Hidden Colors series on bootleg of all things and it changed my life. It put me on a knowledge-filled journey that helped me gain knowledge, wisdom and information about my people and myself. It was at that time I realized football wasn’t the pinnacle of me it was in fact limiting me. From that point forward I started reading, writing and devouring every piece of information I could get my hands on which led to my first book in 2019. What followed I couldn’t have imagined: 18 more books, over a million followers across my various social platforms, and today book number 20. Thank you to everyone who supported me and helped me along the way.
With that being said go get my newest book “When Black Americans Stopped Singing and Started Swinging.” and Learn the true history of what our ancestors stood for. Grab it on Amazon now, link in bio. by @itschasethegod

Patience’s is the Supreme virtue of the Gods who have nothing but Time - 48 Laws of Power, Robert Greene.

Had to be patient, and wait my turn for the right time. Never became jealous or impatient of the ones who came before me or who were shining brighter. Just paid homage, worked, kept my head down, and stayed focus on my goals. And like always the Universe rewarded me with a gift, the gift of @bodyofgodhealth a revolutionary Health and Wellness company that will take what I started and nurtured at @voiceoftheancestors to the next level. A gift that will transform how our community looks at Health and Wellness. A gift that will help you understand that the God you seek is Within not Without.

Stay tune …🤫 by @itschasethegod
