Still thinking about how special The Creator Reset was. 🤎

Creating can get so wrapped up in numbers, algorithms, deadlines, and figuring out what to post next that sometimes you forget there’s an actual person behind the content.

The Creator Reset gave us a night to slow down, connect with other Bay Area creatives, hear honest conversations about the journey, and discover so many local businesses along the way.

And can we talk about all the Bay Area talent in one room?! 🥹 A little love to some of the businesses and creatives who helped make the experience so special:

🤝 @racinecollective — A Bay Area creative agency connecting brands, creators and local businesses through content, events and community.

And one of my personal favorites from the night was getting my color matching done because apparently I’ve been needing someone to tell me which colors actually love me back. 😂🎨

More than anything, I left reminded that the Bay Area has such a beautiful creative community—and creating feels a lot less exhausting when you realize you don’t have to do it alone.

it seems like the Bay Area is getting the recognition it deserves! Got to meet the beautiful Sunday Riley @sundayriley and hear all the tea when it comes to everything that’s sitting on your vanity. The do’s, dont’s and myth busters were jaw dropping. She kept it transparent.

Then to be able to walk around and try what’s new in, and leave with a tote full of skincare AND cocktails was genius.

Been a fan of Sunday Riley’s Pink Drink spray for a while so to be a creator who experiences this is so mind blowing and motivating.

I think a lot of us started creating because we genuinely loved it… and somewhere between the algorithms, trends, deadlines, and pressure to constantly show up, it can start to feel a little exhausting. 🥲
Which is exactly why I’m so excited to be joining The Creator Reset. 🤎

It’s a wellness-centered evening created for people in the Bay Area creative community to step away from the pressure to perform, reconnect with why we started creating, and meet other people who actually get it.

I’m especially looking forward to the conversations around creativity, authenticity + burnout, the wellness experiences, creator resources, and ending the night with a sound bath. And honestly? I’m just excited to be in a room with other creatives where it doesn’t feel like we have to compete, perform, or have everything figured out. 🫶

I’m just living my life ok 🫶🏼

but getting over that initial hump of thinking everyone is judging you is the most mental block that I had to get over in order to feel free with my content creation.

Once you post your cringiest video you immediately get this sense of “ok it’s not that bad, I can keep doing this”

TLDR: post it because it’s what gives you joy and who cares what anyone else thinks babe by @itscherilyn

A menu MUST - you gotta get the super michelada. The shrimp around the rim was seasoned so well but by the time you get to the michelada the cup is icy refreshing and flavorful.

The hennychata filled with Hennessy VSOP and a vanilla forward horchata is the perfect dessert drink and just needs a cinnamon rim to put the cherry on top.

Honestly can’t go wrong with any of their drinks, there’s something for everyone.

I stopped using lip products when they were getting too matte and chalky, but when Shades by Shan said here’s a lip set that feels like nothing is on, that is when I bite.

btw, my favorite feature : the lip liner has a bottom twist so you don’t have to sharpen anywhere you go. And has a built in product sharpener for just the tip. So no more finding a lip liner in your bag only to be stuck with a dull tip.
