Since there’s been a lot of new faces around here lately, I figured I’d properly introduce myself. 😊

Hi! I’m Cheyenne. 👋

Two years ago, I packed up my laptop, my two dogs, sold everything I owned and moved from Texas to Puerto Vallarta without really knowing exactly what life would look like.

Since then, I’ve lost 40 pounds, learned (a lot of) Spanish, made the most incredible friends, started training for my first half marathon, and somehow built a life that genuinely feels like ME.

Around here you’ll find a lot of Mexico, running, honest thoughts, and me figuring life out one day at a time.

Whether you’ve been here for years or just found my page yesterday… I’m really happy you’re here. 🤍

I started running to challenge myself physically, but I swear it’s changed so much about the way I think.

Today’s little lesson? Not everything has to be done at full speed. Sometimes slowing down is part of getting better at something. 🫶

After all that hurricane prep and anticipation, Puerto Vallarta finally got some rain.

My bestie arrived from Texas today to perfectly sunny skies. Looks like she got here just in time 🤣

Almost two years ago, I had surgery to repair my ruptured Achilles tendon at this very hospital. Today, I ran past it, 10 kilometers into my run. 🥹

The craziest part? I never even liked running before my injury.

The rehab from this surgery was one of the hardest things I’d ever gone through. But looking back now, I’m genuinely grateful for what that experience taught me. It completely changed my relationship with my body and gave me a love for movement I never knew I could have.

Just a little reminder to stop every once in a while and appreciate how far you’ve come. ❤️
