To all of the athletes hitting the biggest stage in cheerleading this weekend,

Go out there, and leave it ALL on the mat. You’ve been given the necessary tools to succeed, your coaches have made sure of it. You have your dearest friends on the mat pushing you through the routine, you can make it another 2 minutes and 30 seconds. You have your biggest supporters right in front of you watching as you light the world up with your performance, you can perform even harder.

The feeling of winning NCA is like non other, yes. But the feeling of giving NCA your all and leaving everything in the judge’s hands, knowing what you did was perfect, and feeling like you had the time of your life with your best friends? That’s the stuff I lived for.

Missing being on the other side of the white line extra this season; it’s been extremely difficult. But, someday I’ll be leading my OWN athletes and teams to the biggest stage in cheerleading and walking home with titles listed under “Coach K,” instead of “Kyndal.”

The work will ALWAYS be worth it.

🚨 BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! 🚨

Wildcat Cheer, help us celebrate Coach K returning for her THIRD season with the Wildcat family! 🤍🩵🐾

We are incredibly excited to have Coach K back on our Wildcat Cheer coaching staff. With nearly 20 years in the sport, she brings extensive competitive experience, technical knowledge, creativity, and a passion for developing confident athletes.

Get to know Coach K:

📣 Nearly 20 years in cheerleading
🏆 NCA Champion — 2019 & 2020
🥇 Summit Champion — 2019
🌎 Worlds Finalist — 4th Place, 2021
🎓 WSU Cheer Rookie of the Year — 2022
📣 Collegiate NCA Competitor — 6th Place, 2023

Coach K is entering her 4th season coaching cheerleading and has coached athletes from Tiny Novice Level 1 through Junior Level 3 in both Prep and Elite divisions. She specializes in stunting and choreography and loves building routines from the ground up, developing athletes’ cheer IQ, and watching them become confident, smart, and adaptable competitors.

As a Wildcat coach, she has already helped lead teams to a 3rd-place finish and Top 10 finish at the 2026 Prep & Rec Grand Nationals.

But for Coach K, coaching goes far beyond skills and scoresheets. One of her favorite parts of the sport is watching a group of athletes become a true team—learning to trust one another, push through hard moments, build each other up, and recognize what they are capable of.

Her coaching philosophy centers around three things: confidence, adaptability, and perseverance.

“I believe I can. I’ll adjust when things change. And I’ll keep going when things get hard.”

Outside of the gym, Coach K earned her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering in December 2025 and works as a Quality Systems Specialist at Viega US. She loves spending time with her fiancé and her kitty Biscuit, watching good shows, hanging out with friends, playing Switch, and fitting in a good book whenever she can. 📚🐱

We are so excited to have Coach K back for another season and can’t wait to see the continued impact she makes on our athletes and program.

Welcome back for Season 3, Coach K! 🤍🩵🐾

What an experience! Had so much fun and felt so much pride watching Wildcat cheerleaders on the Wichita Wind Surge/Turbo Tubs field! We put a little routine together in just a couple months and a few practices throughout this summer and these athletes made it happen!

Same time next year? Wildcat Family Day at the park never disappoints <3

Gold Rush was SO much fun!!

Cobalt Crew and Diamond Dolls performed on their biggest stage so far this season this last weekend and I honestly couldn’t be more proud.

Both of these teams went out on day 1 and took on the battle against their nerves. Were they perfect performances? No, however they WERE strong enough to get both teams to 5th place in divisions of 11 and 7. They were performances I had so much fun watching, but they weren’t good enough for our athletes.

On day 2, we came in calm, cool, collected. We fixed our mistakes and we took judges feedback to heart and APPLIED IT.

Cobalt went to warmups so determined and so checked in. They took the stage and they owned it, making their score jump just over 2 points — scoring the highest they have so far. They were absolutely electric, and they executed that routine so well.

Diamond Dolls kept the energy going and took the stage with the most evident confidence so far this season. Feedback from day 2 included comments about how clear it is these athletes LOVE performing and want to give this routine everything they have. Seeing showmanship, energy, and love for the sport highlighted on one of my teams’ scoresheets had me beaming.

CC ended up in 4th out of 11 teams !!!!! The largest division Wildcat has competed in so far 🫣
DD ended up also in 4th out of 7 teams !! Their largest division so far as a team

Both teams improving their routines with the goal of moving up in their respective divisions is exactly what I asked them for going from day 1 to day 2, and these kids delivered.

Love these kiddos to death — just one more competition before they get to take on another huge stage at Prep & Rec Grand Nationals in Orlando 🤩🤩

BOTH OF MY PREP TEAMS ARE GOING TO FLORIDA!!!

What a day at POP! Grand Nationals! The weather was not trying to be our friend this weekend, but as Coach Gabbie says a little snow doesn’t stop this show!

My Diamond Dolls had back to back comp weekends, were fighting sicknesses all week, competed down an athlete, and STILL showed up and showed out today. Our routine may not have been perfect, but man was it so fun to watch! They are a force to be reckoned with and truly proved that pushing through their adversity to a 3rd place finish out of 5 (with the highest score out of the other D2 programs in our division💪🏼💪🏼)

For my Cobalt Crew, this weekend was their first time competing and WOW I am so proud of their performance AND SECURING OUR PROGRAMS SECOND BID TO PREP AND REC GRAND NATIONALS!! These girls absolutely deserve the invite to Florida with my DD kids and we will have so much fun as a program. CC finished 2nd out of 4 at their first comp with a team of over half first time cheerleaders!

Finally, my Posh Pearl girls got a superior rating in youth novice!! Slay highest score range fighting through their own adversity missing THREE athletes and making some MASSIVE changes before going out on the floor for the first time for every single one of those athletes.

Our tiny Sassy Sapphires slayed as usual and I love being their biggest fans 🙌🏼

So proud of our entire program! Stoked for what the rest of the season will bring <3
