You really did run that race with me. All 75 miles.

❤️

Babe, we do things differently don’t we:) We open Christmas cards in February. We buy Valentine’s Day cards and never fill them out 🤣. We eat a lot of dinners standing around the kitchen island. We both can easily fall asleep before our son, every night 🤭.

We also live an interesting life in that we won’t let the other person quit chasing their dreams.

We let each other fly… and we also reel each other in if we get lost in the wind. We support, and we call each other out.

We carry the boats together.

And I think that’s so cool. We carry our stuff while always leaving space to carry a bit of an each others as well.

We’re gonna be spending the next 50+ years together… I’m so glad we like each other 🤣🤣😍🥰

But really babe… this is cool! This life, this marriage, this family. I love the way we do our thing💃🏻🕺🏻.

Thanks for running that 75 miles with me, baby! I couldn’t have done it without you:)

Here’s to the adventure ahead, and the milestones we cover together.

I love you so much!
I’ll see ya in the kitchen in a minute😄 by @itsdannydiaz

You don’t know this side of me — and it’s time to open up about it.👇🏽

Most people know the man who runs mountains.
They don’t know the man who had to crawl through hell just to stand.

They know the father and husband.
They don’t know the 13-year-old selling drugs to feel significant.
The kid smoking PCP.
The 17-year-old in rehab rebuilding himself with no map.

They know the coach.
They don’t know the dealer moving bricks across states, wearing a bulletproof vest, hiding guns in cars with secret compartments, living like tomorrow didn’t exist.

They know the positivity.
They don’t know the rage, the emptiness, the masks, the constant scanning of every room because danger felt normal.

They know the spiritual man.
They don’t know the young man who traveled the world trying to remember what having a heart even felt like.

They know the entrepreneur.
They don’t know the broke man facing prison.
The restaurateur carrying a business on his back while dying inside.
The man waking up at 4:30AM thinking he was going to have a heart attack.
The man who whispered to his wife, “I think I might die.”

They know the motivator.
They don’t know the man who rebuilt himself alone — again and again.

They know the ultra athlete.
They don’t know the man who lost the ability to walk in 2019…
and rebuilt his body step by painful step until he could run through mountains most people won’t even drive through.

They know the results.
They don’t know the resurrection behind them.

So if you’re new here, understand this:

I’m not here for likes, inspiration, or fluff.
I’m here because I’ve lived every version of rock bottom —
and rebuilt every time.

Now I help leaders and high performers do the same —
through challenge, truth, discipline, and embodied change.
Not theory.
Not hype.
Real transformation that sticks.

2026 is around the corner.
If you’re ready for a year that actually feels different —
a year where you stop bleeding out in your health, energy, and capacity —
a year where you rise into someone you’re proud to lead as…

I never thought my life would end, and start over here.

But that’s exactly what playing this game did.

Unable to walk, stuck on the ground, spine twisted, and tired of feeling old at 37… I said YES to something ridiculous.

That YES forced me to address areas of my life where I was letting myself down.

I said yes to running a mountain having never ran my whole life. Super Uncomfortable !!!

I didn’t know the distance, and that didn’t matter. I couldn’t run a mile as it was anyway, and my back had never handled running well.

I knew that once there was event on my calendar, I’d hold myself to a higher level of accountability, which I really needed if I was going to heal my back without surgery.

So I said YES.

A few months later, I ran 22miles through the mountains of Montana.

I met a version of myself I never knew existed.

Having lost the ability to walk 6 months prior to healing my back and running a near marathon in the mountains, I knew I could do anything!

I began an entirely new life that day.

Now I share that experience with others.

Are you ready to meet that next version of yourself?

The countdown is on! Less than 5 days!!!

There’s a special feeling that comes with “race week.” Even though this isn’t a race, it’s an endurance experience nonetheless. And the build up is real.

Everyone has trained hard for 8 weeks leading into this final week of prep. On Friday we adventure 20+ miles with 11,000ft+ of elevation change, through the Grand Canyon, in a single day!

It’s not the hike that’s the most revealing, however. It’s the weeks leading up to this moment that change who you are. The Grand Canyon experience solidifies it, and shows you what you’re truly capable of. This new knowledge becomes embodied intelligence. A Knowing you can never escape once experienced.

This is the type of thing that changes people for the rest of their lives.

I’m honored to lead amazing people through my UPX program and watch them take the lessons learned and apply them to expand their lives, businesses, and relationships.

I will host one of these in April next year. As the program has evolved so has the application process. If you’re interested in a life changing experience like this, raise your hand or shoot me a dm. Looking forward to watching you reach new heights in life 🙌🏽❤️

Next week, at this time, myself and 5 others will be making our way up the final stretch of a 20-mile hike through the Grand Canyon.

Everyone in this group is a business owner, a parent, a partner, and a leader. Everyone wants to meet more of themselves, experience more of their potential, and spend a day accomplishing something most people will never even attempt.

We push ourselves for purpose.

Doing something hard expands your capacity to handle more with greater ease.

If you’re a dreamer, a builder, or a creator, you’re one of us. You’re interested in finding ways to enhance your life, experience more of what’s possible, and give back along the way.

There’s something powerful about pushing yourself physically and getting to know the deepest corners of your own strength and determination.

You can’t unsee that stuff.

Once you’ve done something that hard physically, your mind starts to lose its grip on holding you back. It becomes harder to hesitate, to worry, or to let fear make your decisions for you.

I’ve had clients describe UPX as exposing.

It showed them a version of themselves that was so strong, clear, and confident that it became hard to play small afterward.

I freaking love that.

Next week, we all get to experience that again.

I might do another one next April. Training would kick off in the new year.

You down?

PS: UPX stands for Ultra Performance Xperience. It’s where people who want more out of life go to discover just how much more they’ve got in them. by @itsdannydiaz

I’ve shared a lot on social media about my life. Personal and vulnerable stories. My journey has given me lots of “talking points” and tales of transformation.

And now I get paid to teach people how to escape old patterns, refine their lives, and increase fulfillment levels in the life they’ve created.

For a long time it was all about performance. How to optimize, enhance, and fill every second with productivity and positivity.

After our son was born I learned something different. I learned how valuable it was to be able to SIT and just BE. To listen, to watch, to observe, to be fully present in life!

I was racing around (and don’t get me wrong - I was having a blast), getting things done, moving and shaking, and my performance was off the charts. Really felt like I was winning life. And it’s not to say I wasn’t. It IS to say though - I wasn’t really noticing life. Lots of LIFE was happening all around me and I hadn’t learned yet how to sit and fully appreciate its splendor without getting antsy and/or needing to move to feel good.

Life feels more well rounded now. I have seasons where I move hard with heavy focus. And I have seasons where I slow down and let go. I’m always “on my path.” I just don’t make producing my main goal. Instead I use “experiencing” as my measure of a life well lived.

Was I there? Was I present? Was I really dropped into the moment or was I watching something beautiful while thinking of something else? Was I watching my son or wife talk while mentally solving another problem in my head?

The answers to these questions help measure my attendance to life.

When you become a parent, everyone tells you to “enjoy it because it goes too quickly.” What a good lesson to give all of us about LIFE.

Because if you’re not really enjoying it, paying attention to it, or being intentional with your time, it goes quick. And one day you may wake up and say, “Damn! I really wish I would have done X, or taken the time to start doing Y, or not cared what people thought and did Z.”

Have adventures, take risks, slow down, dance, watch the clouds go by and get lost in the awe and wonder of this world. Develop the skill of Presence🙌🏽 by @itsdannydiaz

Rest might be one of the most underrated performance tools on the planet. And a whole lot of people have no idea how to use it.

Here’s what I see happening. People go from one responsibility to the next, then finally get a little downtime and spend it scrolling Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, or whatever rabbit hole catches their attention.

The average online adult spends over 18 HOURS A WEEK scrolling social media and video feeds. And screen time becomes rest time.

Except it’s not really rest. It’s just another distraction. Another place to send your attention. Another way to avoid everything that’s been running through your mind all day.

I’ve been guilty of it🙌🏽 I’m not immune to the grip of SM. I’ve also know how powerful it feels when you are REALLY intentional with your rest.

For me, that often means being alone. Getting outside. Putting my phone away. Giving myself time to think, reflect, dream, and appreciate how freaking beautiful life is.

My BEST ideas, biggest breakthroughs, and clearest decisions have come during these moments of rest.

If you’re constantly putting out fires, it’s pretty damn hard to step back, see, and build the bigger picture.

For people who are trying to build businesses, create wealth, raise incredible families, chase big dreams, and do extraordinary things with their lives, that bigger picture is important!

Most ambitious people don’t want less out of life. They want MORE. More freedom. More experiences. More impact. More opportunity.

And to create more, you’ve got to develop the CAPACITY for more.

That’s a huge part of what I teach people to do. And sometimes it looks a whole lot less like working harder and a whole lot more like working smarter while also learning how to take your foot off the gas without feeling guilty.

You’re the most important asset! Start treating yourself like it.

Learn how to schedule in time for proper rest, activities that rejuvenate you, and space where the world isn’t beating at your door.

When you master the art of giving yourself adequate space to restore and explore, your capacity grows. And your ability to dominate the tasks at hand grow along side it. by @itsdannydiaz

Most of us are far more capable than our daily actions would suggest.

What’s makes this exciting is that there’s so much more available to us than we’re currently experiencing. More energy. More confidence. More creativity. More adventure. More of that feeling of being fully engaged in a life we’re genuinely excited about.

The question is, how do we get there without turning our entire existence into some exhausting self-improvement project?

Because I’ve been that guy too. The guy who thinks the answer is always another challenge, another big commitment, another thing to add to the calendar. In my early years of personal development I forgot to let myself be human and tried to find my worth by being a productivity robot 🙌🏽.

Here’s something I’ve learned through all of it.

The more I trust myself to follow through, the more willing I become to explore what else I’m capable of.

And that, to me, is where life can get really interesting.

Because suddenly we’re not just talking about eating better, getting in shape, or being more productive at work.

We’re talking about developing the confidence to start that business. Have that conversation. Sign up for that adventure. Write that book. Go after something that once felt completely out of reach.

We’re talking about becoming someone who’s willing to participate more fully in creating the life they want.

And I don’t know about you, but for me, THAT is what life is about.

I believe there’s an extraordinary amount of potential inside every one of us. And I also believe we have a responsibility to ourselves to get curious about what might happen if we actually started exploring more of it.

You don’t have to become a machine to create an extraordinary life. You just have to keep becoming someone you can count on.

And have some FUN along the way. That’s important too. 😁

What’s ONE thing you know you’re capable of that you haven’t quite figured out how to do consistently yet?

I’d love to hear it. 👇 by @itsdannydiaz

Happy Anniversary to the two most special people in my life.

Mom n Dad, I’m so honored and proud to be your child. Having you two as parents is such an incredible gift. You’ve been there for not just me, but all of my friends and loved ones throughout life.

You’ve taught me the importance of romance, connection, trust, and honesty. You taught me loyalty and resilience. You’ve modeled what a beautiful relationship can be.

And all throughout you poured into those around you.

I love you both endlessly.

Here’s to more decades of love, connection, and adventure!

Happy 47 years together🙌🏽🚀❤️ by @itsdannydiaz

After a couple weeks of traveling for work, I had every intention of putting my head down and having a big, productive workday. I had things to catch up on, projects to move forward, and a pretty solid idea of what I wanted to accomplish.

And then life had other plans. 😂

My wife wasn’t feeling well and needed some extra support, which meant I needed to pivot. And with my son home for one final day of fall break, I suddenly had an entirely different kind of day on my hands.

Now, I could’ve spent that day frustrated, thinking about everything I wasn’t getting done, or feeling resentful that my plans had changed.

I chose differently.

We rode bikes, played football, started making our first sourdough loaf, colored, went to the orthodontist, cleaned the house, and had some really incredible conversations about life, emotions, responsibility, and what it means to grow into a good man.

We even talked about boredom and how uncomfortable it can feel when we’re not constantly being entertained. How easy it is to reach for food, screens, or distractions, and how powerful it is to learn to sit with ourselves instead.

One of the things I’ve been wanting more of lately is opportunities to really teach my son. Not just tell him how to live, but show him. To help him develop the emotional awareness, confidence, discipline, and compassion that I hope he’ll carry into adulthood.

And today, because the plan changed, I got exactly that.

Flexibility isn’t just about having the freedom to change your schedule. It’s about having the emotional capacity to change your expectations without ruining the experience.

It’s a skill. It’s a strength. And it’s one worth practicing.

There will always be more work to do. More goals to chase. More things demanding our attention.

And I’m not suggesting we abandon those things. I love the work I’m building and the life I’m creating.

I just don’t want to become so attached to my plans that I miss the incredible opportunities life puts right in front of me.

Today, I didn’t lose a workday. I gained a day with my son that I’ll probably remember a whole lot longer. by @itsdannydiaz

Look, I get it. Life is full. Schedules are packed. We’ve all got a million things going on. And sometimes the idea of adding one more thing feels ridiculous.

And yet, we can’t keep expecting our lives to change while insisting that absolutely nothing about what we’re doing can change.

Sometimes the next level doesn’t require a massive overhaul. Sometimes it’s just an extra 20 minutes. One more conversation. One more rep. One more uncomfortable decision. One more promise you actually follow through on.

And here’s the fun part. What feels like EXTRA today can become your NORMAL tomorrow.

You’d be amazed what starts happening when you get comfortable giving just a little more to the things that actually matter to you.

Not everything requires more effort. And not every season calls for more hustle. Sometimes, though, a little extra is exactly what you’ve been missing.

Have a freaking awesome day! ✌🏽 by @itsdannydiaz
