In a quiet moment with FiftyFour Mag, DemiMa opens up about the soul-stirring journey behind her latest EP, Duality Pt. 2: Peace, a creation that goes beyond music, becoming a refuge for those seeking calm in a restless world.

“There’s so much noise out there”, she reflects, “and even more pressure to be seen, to produce, to keep moving. This project was about allowing stillness to speak”.

From the timeless jazz heritage of her Mseleku bloodline, through the vibrant rhythms of South West London, to the sun-warmed spirit of eThekwini, DemiMa’s sound doesn’t just move, it mends. Her music is a balm, a rhythmic sanctuary where listeners can breathe, reflect, and return to themselves.

"If you build it, they will come."
It was an honour to organise eZulwini Wellbeing Retreat, and start the year with a group of special beings as we dedicated ourselves to a day of self-love, care and healing in the stunning mountains of Kwa Zulu.
Really grateful to have aligned with @_huecafe @nomalizondi @solid_wellnessandmassage , and @mbazeaura who all made wonderful contributions to the day. Thank You!

Special Thanks to @lakkaproductions for the beautiful capture. 😍

Looking forward to the next offering!
