🚨Blessed to have the opportunity to share this amazing platform @redtabletalk with my wife @breannaaponte to discuss the effects of trauma that we dealt with early on in our relationship and how we’ve been able to over come those challenges to now have an amazing relationship!

I hope that our transparency about situation’s that we dealt with in the early stages of our relationship show people that all relationships have their challenges however if you both love each other, are intentional and are willing to put the work in to being better for one another that you can overcome those things and have an amazing relationship!

We celebrated @itsdresmith 32nd birthday at one of our favorite spots — @ometeotexmex in Tysons Corner! We knew our friends would love the food and vibe just as much as we do… and they definitely did! 😂

Such a dope Sunday out with the fellas. 👊🏾

@martellusa blessed me with a brunch experience for me and six guests, and normally I would bring my wife and make it a couples moment. Since she was out of town, I figured it was the perfect time to get up with some of my boys. It was definitely a time that was much needed. Good energy. Good food. Good people. 🥃✨

Life gets busy, but fellas, make sure you carve out time to just kick it with the guys. The brotherhood matters. 💯

What a way to bring in my birthday! 🎉🚢

It was technically a work trip, but I just wrapped up cruising on the @tjfantasticvoyage — and man, I didn’t know what to expect, but it exceeded every expectation! 🙌🏾

What I posted isn’t even half of what happened on that boat… from the incredible performances 🎤, to the powerful panels 💬, meeting some amazing new people, to just sitting down and talking with passengers who shared amazing stories — it was truly an unforgettable experience that gave me so much perspective on both work and life. 🙏🏾

It was also great spending time with my coworkers who now feel like family ❤️.

I was primarily on the boat to make sure the @dearfuturewifeypodcast Live with @rickeysmileyofficial went off without a hitch and they absolutely crushed it! 🔥 And to top it off, my wife surprised me by having Laterras lead the entire crowd in singing Happy Birthday to me 🥹🎂.

Huge shoutout to @loriiflowers and @mrsb.jackson for helping me prepare for this trip — couldn’t have made it through without y’all! 🙏🏾

FIRST…My God… my wife is Gorgeous 😍

To wrap up her birthday festivities, Bre turned our place into her very own Japanese-inspired lounge — Black Lotus Lounge 33. 🌸🍣✨

She never stops amazing me with how creative she is! From the vision in her head to the details in the decor, she brought it all to life like she always does! Every single thing was thought out — the vibe, the aesthetic, the food, everything.

And yes… I threw on the chef outfit one more time 🍳😂 to serve her and basically all my sisters at this point — her friends. The whole night turned out incredible. The ladies looked beautiful, the setup was beautiful, and the energy was perfect.

Happy Birthday my love ❤️

Bre, you mean everything to me. You’re the most selfless, loving, and beautiful soul I know. The way you love people, the way you show up for others, the way you love me — it’s rare. You’ve changed my life in ways I can’t even explain, and I thank God every day that I get to do life with you. I’m so proud of the woman you are and the woman you’re becoming. I love you more than words can say. 💕

Now for everybody else reading this… I wanted to do something special for her this year. Bre gives so much of her time and energy to others, so I wanted to give her a mix of all the things she loves — but this time, done by me. Not something I paid for… something I did.

She loves:
✨ Quick getaways and road trips
🛁 Hot tubs
🍝 Chicken pasta with green peppers
💆🏽‍♀️ A good massage

So I brought all of that together in one surprise experience — just us.

Because sometimes the best gifts aren’t about how much money you spend…
They’re about how much time and intention you put into them.

Everyday I treat @breannaaponte special but Valentines Day was a special day! Great dinner at @sisterstysons and ended it off with Pinks concert! Make sure y’all grab tickets in your city!!
