Encouraging imperfect gentle mamas 💖
POSTS STORIES REELS
Therapy Thursday. Finally! I did it, y'all! What does the flight attendant advise us to do? "Put the mask on YOURSELF first." As mamas we have a hard time doing this, right? Yes, it takes time & effort to find a "just right" therapist so if at first you don't succeed--try, try again (like I did 🙄). If you're thinking about getting a therapist but keep dragging your feet (like I did 🙄) -- just do it! . . . . . . . . . #thursdaytherapy #therapythursday #selfcarematters #selfcaretherapy #gentleparenting #gentleparent #healthymama #healthymind #healthyparenting by @itsearline
Wellness Wednesday Whatcha think about it? I grew up on SESAME STREET. My kids grew up on BLUE'S CLUES. What about YOUR littles? Educational shows are definitely different from what they used to be. A few years ago I wouldn't have believed it mattered (due to ignorance). Now that I've learned how social media platforms were designed to affect us... I've definitely changed my "tune." BALANCE is key with everything! ⚖️ But meanwhile, what do you think about this? . . . . . . . #intentionalparenting #mindfulparenting #intuitiveparenting #parentingtips #respectfulparenting #toddleractivities #toddlereducation #toddlerfun #singlemama #homeschoolmama #melaninmama #gentleparenting #parentingwithunderstanding # by @itsearline

Talk Tuesday part 1 "Because I see gentle parenting everywhere!" I was able to ask a young man at the library if he would stop rapping out loud so I could concentrate.🗣️ Now, y'all know things could have gone terribly wrong.🫣 But they didn't! Why not? Find out the rest of the story in part 2 . . . . . #gentleparenting #respectfulparenting #parentingwithunderstanding #intentionalparenting #mindfulparenting #intuitiveparenting #intuitiveparenting #gentleperson #gentlepeople #respectful by @itsearline
Do You or WOULD You Help Your Adult Kids? What a loaded question right? It certainly depends on the situation and whether or not they're capable of helping themselves--- that's for sure. They currently all have jobs... But there's gas money, there's anxiety medication, therapists, there's food, there's incidentals, etc So what do you think? What do you plan on doing or what have you been doing to help your adult children make ends meet? . . . . . . . . . . . . #adultparenting #adultkids #parentingtip #parentingwithunderstanding #parentingtips #parentinggently #parentingwithkindness #parentingwithintention #parentinginsights by @itsearline

I have never experienced being kind to someone and then having to apologize for it later. But, I have experienced my fleshly ego trying to make me feel regret by whispering, "You shouldn't have done that. You're being a pushover! They're taking advantage of you, stupid." 🐍 So, I shouted back, "no, I'm not being weak--it took all the strength I had NOT to react and remain peaceful. 🐝 I can be kind and still be firm (just ask Mary Poppins 🤭) It's called BALANCE. I choose peace. 🙏🏾 I choose to bee kind. 🐝 You? . . . . . . . . #gentlemama #respectfulparenting #gentledads #gentlegiants #gentleparenting #mindfulparenting #intentionalparents #intuitiveparenting #positiveparenting #parentingwithunderstanding #parentinggently #parentinghacks #parentingtips #homeschoolmama #homeschoolmomsofcolor #homeschoolpreschool #homeschooldays by @itsearline
