You did it babygirl! WE DID IT!! Im so very proud of you AND ME!!! You held down a job, 3.6 GPA, 25 on your ACT, & graduated with exemplary distinction…the long nights, hard tests, & me staying on you led you to this moment & YOU DID IT! ❤️ Let me just take this moment right now to toot my own horn & POP IT FOR MYSELF! When I found out I was pregnant, I didn’t think I would be doing it as a single parent…but here we are. Being a single parent isn’t easy…& it gets harder as they get older & have different influences around & start finding their own voice, their own personality, their own way…trying to carry the load financially, mentally, & emotionally of two parents…trying to give your child the life you had & give them experiences you didnt have while still instilling morals, values, work ethic definitely takes a toll…but Im proud of ME for pushing through them nights I cried wondering if Im doing this thing right…for being there to guide her when I didn’t know but God has us BOTH…for learning to lean on my village when I needed them instead of trying to handle it all myself {it took 17 yrs but I did it 🤣}…for the sacrifices I’ve made that I don’t talk about because that’s just what parents do…God, my family, my support system have carried me through this parenting journey & we’re not done…just on to the next chapter ❤️ Thank you to EVERYONE that has shown up for Kynnedy in ANY capacity…to everyone that watched the live stream & gave me commentary like they were there 🤣, sent congratulations & encouraging words…you are TRULY appreciated!! This Is 18 🥹 18?! Like how did we get here so fast?! 😩 Whew, 18 years later Im still trying to get this parenting thing right, but Im so proud of the young woman you are growing up to be! I love watching how your personality & individuality has blossomed as you navigate through life. You are about to embark on a whole new journey graduating from high school & going to college {& Lord Im about to cry again 😭}.
