19.

This birthday looked a little different than most. I got to spend the week away from home, surrounded by friends, family, and people who mean a lot to me. It was full of conversations, laughter, memories, and moments that reminded me how blessed I truly am.

The last few months haven’t been my proudest. I’ve made mistakes, lost sight of things that matter, and had moments I wish I could do over.

Somewhere in between all of the chaos this week, I also had time to sit quietly. To watch. To listen. To reflect.

Nineteen years isn’t a long time in the grand scheme of things, but when I look back, I can see the faithfulness of God woven through every season of my life. Through the highs that I never wanted to end and the lows that I never thought I’d make it through. Through answered prayers, unanswered prayers, closed doors, unexpected opportunities, heartbreak, growth, joy, and lessons that could only be learned with time.

There are so many moments that didn’t make sense when I was living them, but looking back now, I can see God’s hand in all of it. His protection in the things I lost. His provision in the things I needed. His kindness in the people He placed in my life exactly when I needed them.

This past year stretched me in ways I didn’t expect. It challenged me, humbled me, and taught me more about trusting God when I couldn’t see the whole picture. And while I don’t have everything figured out, I’m learning that faith isn’t about having all the answers

It’s about knowing the One who does.

As I step into nineteen, I don’t know exactly what this year will hold. But I know who has held me for the last nineteen years.

And when I look at where I am today compared to where I’ve been, all I can say is thank You, Jesus.

For every blessing.
For every lesson.
For every closed door.
For every new beginning.
For every person you’ve placed in my life.
For your grace that has carried me farther than I ever could have gone on my own.

Nineteen years of God’s faithfulness, and I have a feeling He’s just getting started.
