A few pics from my film “Blood is coursing through my hard drive”. This film has been something I’ve been a little worried about making - but I’ve always felt that way about my own art. What’s made it especially difficult as of late is the giant phone. Many of you have probably already seen it, it’s a giant wooden version of the phone used in the film - shown in the first picture. It was created by my Uncle, Jamie. He passed away a few weeks ago very suddenly. Looking through the film and having to see it has made the whole process that much harder lately, and honestly makes me just want to put the film away in some far forgotten folder where I never have to look at it again! This has been my first major death in the family, I’ve never experienced anything like it before. But I still feel the need to show my appreciation for him, and his help with my weird film. Thanks, Uncle Jamie! 📱🔨 by @itsfay.mov

remembering my previous work… super fun installation for my co-labs project! we had to create a film from a poem. we reinterpreted our poem (1542: last words by Michael Symmons Roberts) into four different sections. my section took directly from the second stanza, and translated it into a visual medium. super proud of it, and it was so fun to work on the typography in after effects for the first time, and to use the huge monitors!
