As I reflected on the impact and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr., I came across this quote: “I want to get the language so right that everyone here will cry out: ‘Yes, I’m Black, I’m proud of it. I’m Black and I’m beautiful!”

This is a popular quote but as a publicist, I too strive to get the language so right for all of the Black entrepreneurs and creatives I support. Language is my career superpower and I strive to get it so right for each and every client I amplify! I want to get it so right that their talent is undeniable. When I use language to uplift my clients and their stories, I have the distinct pleasure of screaming to the world “we’re [still] Black and we’re [still] PRoud!”✨
