Just 18 DAYS until Liverpool Comic Con, and the excitement is already kicking in!

🎬 flickFunkos | HELLRAISER (2022) 🧩🩸

THIS is why I leave mysterious boxes alone. I struggle with flat-pack furniture—I’m not accidentally assembling a doorway to Hell. 😭😂

I bloody LOVE this movie. Beautiful, bleak and absolutely skin-crawling, Hellraiser (2022) serves up twisted bodies, terrifying bargains and the sort of nightmare fuel that makes you reconsider having eyes. 🔥

Jamie Clayton’s Hell Priest is a massive highlight for me. That calm voice, icy stare and commanding presence make her terrifying without needing to shout. You already know the customer service in her dimension is going to be horrendous. 💀

And those Cenobite designs? Grotesque, intricate and fascinating. Every pin, exposed detail and unnatural shape adds to that horrible feeling that pain has become an art form. The Chatterer alone can keep his dental appointment VERY far away from me. 🦷😬

Underneath the brutality, it’s the temptation that gets me: wanting something so desperately that you ignore the price. That box looks like a collector’s dream… until the collection includes YOU. 🧩⛓️

It isn’t flawless, but the atmosphere, creature designs and sheer nastiness make this a horror film I’m happy to revisit.

As for me bowing before her in these images? Respectfully, I’m trying to survive the meeting. 😂🙇‍♂️

🩸 BEAUTIFUL. BLEAK. UNSETTLING.
🧩 My verdict: 7/10 puzzle boxes.

🎃 flickFunkos | HALLOWEEN FRANCHISE REVIEW 🔪

I know this might be an unpopular one, but I’m not a massive fan of the Halloween franchise.

I respect what it did for horror, I get why Michael Myers became one of the biggest icons in the genre, and there are definitely some great moments throughout the series… but as a full franchise, it’s never been one I’ve completely connected with.

Some films work better than others, some feel repetitive, and by the time you get deep into the timelines, reboots and resets, it can start feeling like Michael just refuses to clock out. 😂

That said, there are still plenty of standout scenes, creepy moments and genuinely strong entries worth talking about.

So here’s the debate 👇

Which Halloween movie is actually the best?
And is this franchise genuinely one of horror’s greatest, or has the legend of Michael Myers become bigger than the movies themselves?

🐉 RANGERLEGACYHUB | CREDIT IS ONE THING. DOING JDF JUSTICE IS ANOTHER.

Bat in the Sun and Aaron Schoenke—here’s my challenge: does Legend of the White Dragon give Jason David Frank the recognition his contribution deserves?

JDF’s name carries enormous meaning for me. When it’s attached to a project, I want his performance, his involvement and his legacy celebrated with substance. Nostalgia gets our attention. The finished film still has to earn our praise.

Let’s keep the criticism accurate: Jason is credited as a star and producer, and Aaron and Sean Schoenke share directing credits. That doesn’t support saying Aaron “took all the credit.” But a credit on a list doesn’t settle whether the film gives Jason the spotlight fans hoped for.

Respect for JDF should never mean a free pass from criticism for the film. We can love the man, appreciate the team’s work and still ask uncomfortable questions about the creative choices.

🔥 Did the story do Jason justice?
🔥 Did Aaron’s character strengthen the film—or pull focus from the person you came to see?
🔥 Did this feel like a fitting celebration of JDF, or an opportunity that fell short?

If you disagree, tell me which scenes changed your mind. If you were disappointed, explain what should have been different. Let’s debate the actual film.

For me, “Justice for Jason” means recognising his contribution and keeping his work at the centre of the conversation.
