So… what do I do? 👀

I’m learning how to build an income online through digital marketing.

And honestly? I’m still figuring it all out.

I’m not sitting here with a laptop by the pool pretending I’ve cracked the secret to making thousands overnight. 😂

I’m doing this around real life.

Around work.
Around family.
Around the laundry that somehow NEVER ends. 🙃

My goal isn’t to create another job that takes over my life.

It’s to build something that could eventually give me more freedom, flexibility and choice.

I didn’t start another business because I don’t love the one I already have. 🤍

I started because I wanted another option.

I’m a busy, single mum. I have a son, a business that needs me physically there, clients to look after, a home to run… and all the usual unexpected things that life throws at you.

And like so many mums, I’ve found myself thinking:

💭 How can I bring in a little more each month?
💭 How can I build something around my life rather than having to fit my life around it?
💭 And where am I supposed to find the time?!

The answer for me isn’t having hours and hours spare.

It’s finding the little pockets of time.

10 minutes here.
20 minutes there.
An hour when I can.

I’ve built one business from scratch before, so I know taking that first step can feel scary.

But this time, I’m trying something completely different and I’m starting small.

I have absolutely no idea where this journey will take me…

But I’m excited to find out. ✨

I stopped being the one sat on the fence, watching others do this and making this expensive world feel a little less expensive.

I did my research.
I took a chance.
And I went for it.

Because I do want to have a little extra breathing room and being able to earn from my phone without needing to physically be somewhere really appealed to me!👀

Read that again. 🤍✨

You can love your life, adore your little family and still want to create something more for yourself.

Both things can be true.

For me, it’s not about wanting a completely different life. It’s about exploring new opportunities, learning skills I never had before and seeing what might be possible for my future.

That’s what led me to digital marketing. 🫶🏼

I’m starting as a complete beginner, learning as I go and sharing the journey along the way.

No pretending to have it all figured out. Just taking small steps towards something new.

Can we be honest for a minute? 🤍

I don’t dream of designer bags, flashy cars or a picture-perfect life.

I dream of not having to think twice about every little expense.

Of being able to say yes to things without mentally calculating everything first.

Of having more choices, more flexibility and the feeling that I’m building something for my future… not just getting through the week.

And as a mum, that means even more to me. 🫶🏼

That’s a big part of why I started learning about digital marketing.

Not because I have it all figured out. Not because success is guaranteed. But because I wanted to explore a new skill and see what I could build for myself.

I’m starting where I am, learning as I go and sharing the journey honestly.

Because maybe it’s not about wanting more stuff.

Maybe it’s about wanting a little more breathing room. 🤍

And now I’m officially one of those girls talking about it too… 🫣🤍✨

But here’s what I wish more women knew… you don’t need to be an influencer, have thousands of followers or have everything figured out to get started.

I’m just a normal girl from the UK, living my everyday life, raising my little boy and wondering if there could be more options out there for me.

I spent so much time watching other women online thinking, “Could I actually do that too?” 👀

Until one day, I stopped watching from the sidelines and decided to give it a go myself.

Because the idea of being able to… 🤍

✨ Build something of my own around my life as a mum
✨ Have more flexibility and choices for my future
✨ Create more time for the people and moments that matter most

…was worth exploring.

I’m still learning, still figuring things out and taking you along for the journey. No pretending to have it all together, just a real girl exploring something new and sharing what she learns along the way. 🫶🏼

Digital marketing… but in normal-person language 😂👇

If you’re a busy mum, you’ve probably heard people talking about “digital marketing” and thought…

What does that actually mean?!

I know I did. 🙋🏼‍♀️

And honestly, I think the word marketing makes it sound much more complicated than it needs to be.

At its simplest, digital marketing is just using the internet to get people interested in a product, service or business.

That could be:

📱 Creating content on Instagram
💌 Building an email list
🛍️ Selling digital products
🤝 Affiliate marketing
💻 Helping businesses market themselves online

And no, you don’t need to be a tech expert.

You don’t need thousands of followers.

And you definitely don’t need to have it all figured out before you start.

Because I’m learning this too.

I’m building something alongside my existing business, around normal life, work and all the other things that come with being a busy mum.

I didn’t actually think it would work.

I already run one successful luxury dog grooming business so why did I decide to do this?

I wanted an extra income without needing to physically be somewhere, so this really excited me!✨

I’m a single boy mum, juggling everyday life, the food shop, football training, walking the dogs, cooking, you know the struggles.

Because let’s be honest having multiple income streams these days is the way forward.

I learned the digital skills, followed the steps I’d been shown, and just keep showing up.

So I took the leap to earn the money that the other girlies do on here too.
