Some chapters end before you’re ready for them to.

To my Touro Infirmary ER family, thank you for welcoming me into your department and allowing me to be part of your team. What started as “just another travel contract” turned into so much more than that.

Thank you for the long shifts, the laughs in the middle of chaos, the hard days, the ridiculous stories, the encouragement, and all the little moments that made this place feel like home.

Travel nursing has taught me that sometimes you can walk into a place knowing you’ll only be there for a few months and still leave a piece of your heart behind.

I’m leaving New Orleans with more memories than I could have imagined, friendships I hope continue far beyond this contract, and experiences that I’ll carry with me wherever I go next.

Touro ER, thank you for being part of my journey. 🫶🏽

And to New Orleans itself… I’m not saying goodbye because I have a feeling I’ll be back. ⚜️ You gave me good food, good music, beautiful views, unforgettable nights, and a little piece of the city that I’ll always carry with me. There is truly no place like you.

This isn’t goodbye. It’s just see you later.
