We GET to rejoice and praise God regardless of the circumstances! Why? Well, because HE IS GOOD, even if the circumstances don’t “look” good. (We’re supposed to be walking by faith and not by sight anyways sooo👀…)

Also, our joy should never be dictated by a thing or a circumstance because those things change. Our joy should be rooted in God, who is ALWAYS good and can NEVER fail!

Easier said than done? Yeah, sometimes, but we get to make a choice and we don’t have to try to do it alone. God is here to HELP us, which means we get to ask Him to help us to rejoice!

The Holy Spirit is working in us on this journey of being perfected, but until we have been fully perfected in Christ Jesus, we get to rejoice in the fact that we are still becoming, and God has grace for us in this❤️. He loves us, is patient with us, and is so merciful towards us, and that is yet again a reason to rejoice! by @itsjadat

WE ARE SO LOVED❤️‍🔥!!!

This truth is not just something we are to read on the pages of the Bible and then stop there. This truth is something we are to embrace and WALK IN!

Now, I’ve not fully “arrived” in this area of life lol, I’m very much still becoming, but what I do know is that our Father not only wants us to know how LOVED we are by Him, but to also understand that HE IS LOVE, and so everything that He does is from a place of LOVE!

So, SHOUTOUT TO HIM🥳 because we quite literally get to LIVE in His love❤️‍🔥🥹! by @itsjadat

Now, Let’s Go Deeper⤵️

So of course, as I’m booking with this chef, the thought came to my mind like “what if I don’t like what he chooses for me?!!”, but it wasn’t something that I was heavily worried about because nothing on the menu sounded like it would be nasty. NOTHING! And, for some reason, I trusted him. I probably have never had 5 conversations with this man, but I trusted him. After all, He IS the chef! And to be honest, I was more excited than anything, which now that I think about it, seems weird because I didn’t know that I actually liked surprises😂. So, that will be added to the list of new things that I’ve been learning about myself🙃.

NOW, on to a more serious note:

Where is this trust and excitement when it comes to God? I mean, after all, He IS the Creator. The One I talk to day after day. The One who knows me better than anyone else. The One who knows what I stand in need of and what I struggle with. The One that DECLARES, “ ‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’ “ -Jeremiah 29:11.

Now, I’ve heard and repeated Jeremiah 29:11 so many times and after a while it was just like “yeah…okay…can we move on?” But as I’m typing this now, i’m like woah😳.

Prosper means to:
•succeed in material terms; be financially successful.
•flourish physically; grow strong and healthy.
•make successful.

And can we also talk about the fact that God DECLARED this. He didn’t just lightly say it. He DECLARED it!

So, why don’t I trust THIS God?

Why do I worry about what His plans are for me, more than I trust Him and more than I get excited about what He has in store for me?

He literally has plans to PROSPER us and NOT to harm us. And as I was typing, the term “God’s menu” came to mind. So in other words, God’s “menu” for us is filled with plans to PROSPER us. And nothing about that sounds “nasty” or like something we should be worrying about.

GOD IS JUST SO MERCIFUL!!!!🥹❤️

And I forgot to mention that when I went to discount tire the service was FREE OF CHARGE!!!!! I asked the guy something like “do I owe you guys anything?” and he said “no, it’s a free service.” I didn’t have to pay anything!!! FREE OF CHARGE!!! And I just kept repeating these 3 words and I’m just reminded that JESUS ALREADY PAID THE PRICEEEEEEEE!!!!! For every sin that we will ever commit, HE DIED FOR IT AND THEN ROSE AGAIN!!! Like what??!!!!
