Imagine getting this in the mail? 📬 💌 🥰

Ever gratitude to anyone scoopin' up some of my limited run creations. All orders help me keep going as a #stillCOVIDingArtist who does a whole lot of volunteer work + #FreePPE distro in my community (& low key worldwide) while offering everything I make at a #SlidingScale rate + shipping.

SLIDE THAT SCALE. I don't want cost to be a barrier between cool people getting these treats, so let's practice some mutual trust where you trust that I wouldn't offer this if it was putting me under and I trust that you'll assess honestly 💪♾️

DM to get stuff. For yourself or a pal! All amplification is appreciated. Big love to all #COVIDCautious baddies out here who still #MaskUp 😘

Stickers:
• Join my Street Team for a free sticker!
• $0 - $3 per sticker

We wouldn't be in Jamie Mode if we weren't getting ~political~ on main 😎😷

Grateful to see my creative practice as part of my activism & to see my activism as part of my creative life ♾️ giving a dang continues to be the most liberating path for me, and I'm ever grateful to the arts for being one of my favorite vessels to connect and get shit done through.

This is not every single value I have, but it's what comes to mind in this place and at this time (at home on the Fall Equinox!):

Mask up and clean the air (bc Covid is ongoing and Long Covid blows). Land Back literally. Free Palestine and practice Boycotting Divesting and Sanctioning (aka BDS [follow @bds.movement]). Free Sudan & Congo & all other oppressed beings and lands. Love to all kiddos. Disability Justice always. Abolish cops and prisons (and don't be a dang cop in your day to day life). Housing is a human right. Healthcare is a human right. Food is a human right. Black / Brown / Indigenous / Trans / Disabled / Femme lives matter so much. Reparations. Sliding scale everything. Class equity ASAP. 80 billion other things, but that's all for now. Ask questions about any of them if you have.

I like to think that I don't just say these things as slogans but that I do things to actively and consistently embody them. And I have and will fumble, but I have and will keep trying. Another world / way is not only possible but is happening NOW, and I hope the things I build and make are a tiny drop in the bucket toward our collective liberation.

Gratitude to anyone out there giving a dang 💓 by @itsjamiemode

Gratitude post for @adamsfairacrefarms ! 🥲🙏🎃

For anyone who has been following my pumpkin journey, here is some lore + updates:

Every year, I get my pumpkins from a local spot called Adams. I used to go to one of their stores as a kid & loved pushing the kids carts, loved getting a free slice of cheese from my mom's friend who worked in the deli, & loved spending time in the warm indoor greenhouse/outdoor plant area.

These days, I STILL love Adams (find me in those plant sections at literally any given moment) & I've wanted to carve them some pumpkins. I was able to connect with someone there through Instagram & got a contact email. A wildly kind employee said that they were good on pumpkin art, but that they'd be down to donate all the pumpkins I need for this year.

And now my studio is a pumpkin patch! And I'm sitting here feeling really grateful to be from where I'm from, & to foster connections that run deep & long & that ripple outward endlessly, & to live a life where I get to carve pumpkins to help pay my bills, & so much more.

Big thanks to @adamsfairacrefarms ! (& holler if y'all change your mind about wanting a custom carved pumpkin 😉 happy to do it still!)

Big love to anyone ordering or amplifying my pumpkins!

I'm booked for this week & weekend, but still taking orders for next week + the week of Halloween. Reach out to snag! Slide that scale & step into this season!

Care & abundance to all 🧡🍂

***WINNER = SNAIL 🐌 🎉

VOTE for what should go on the Manny's pumpkin! 🎃🎉

Once again, I'm making this The People's Pumpkin & asking y'all to vote for what I create. An awesome local art store @mannysartsupplies gave me these suggestions below & I want y'all to tap in. Slides 2 & 3 is their pumpkin from last year 🔮 ✨ 🐁

TO VOTE: please "Like" your choice/s in the comments by 10/15. Choice with the most votes wins, so do what you gotta do (call in your friends to help rig the vote, persuade folks to do your bidding, etc. - unless I do anarchy & ignore the results - anything can happen!)

Choices:
- Moth
- Crow
- Bonsai tree
- Snail
(Again - just "like" or ❤️ your fave in the comments. Or if you have more thoughts or ideas, share em there!)

Grateful for anyone rooting for my pumpkin endeavors & helping get the word out 🥲🙏 I'm booked for this week, but reach out if you want a pumpkin early next week or the week of Halloween! See my pinned post for more info.

Ever grateful to these organizers, to the folks working the events, all DJs, & the extremely kind people I've met along the way. It's never lost on me that a world can & does exist where I get to pull up to the safer function & be not only welcomed but celebrated for bringing a pumpkin 😂 if you're looking to support this kind of world too, check out the @positivedeviancenyc fundraiser & tap in as called. Another world is happening now!

My pre-Halloween-week pumpkin order deadline is TODAY, SUNDAY OCTOBER 11, so reach out ASAP if you want a pumpkin delivered BEFORE Oct. 25. Otherwise I've got a few more slots to deliver during the week of Halloween! They bring massive joy. A dude on the sidewalk on the way over was elated 🥲😂

And if you have a future fall gathering that you'd like a pumpkin for, I'm down to make it happen so long as pumpkins are available! See my pinned post for more info.

PUMPKIN FOR @positivedeviancenyc 🎃🪩😷

Fact about me: I love to dance. I danced formally for a lot of my life & have made moments into dance parties truly since I was a baby. I think dancing & music are vital keys to my own well being.

When COVID came, going out dancing became a risk I didn't want to take because I'd hate to get #LongCOVID on a dancefloor & not be able to dance anymore, not be able to work as much, etc. (all of which wouldn't be inherently bad - I'm just tryna prevent unnecessary barriers when I can). Luckily, #PositiveDeviance emerged & made some safer spaces for me & so many others to go shake it to. Ever ever appreciate them 🙏

So! I have the honor of making them a pumpkin, which MIIIIGHT be at their dance party this Saturday 👀 & I am enthusiastic to share their fundraiser too so that they can sustain holding safer events. Check them out at @positivedeviancenyc & support if + how you can (especially if you're someone who goes out a lot & have the privilege of not feeling like you need to #MaskUp or care about getting sick).

SUPPORT THEIR FUNDRAISER 😷 🪩 another world is happening NOW! And grateful to live in a world where I get to bring a pumpkin to a dance party 😂
