Unison and Overdrive are teaming up to celebrate our first anniversaries as two of Toronto’s emerging techno crews. The night is dedicated to the dancers, artists, collaborators, and the people who have helped shape our community over the past twelve months. While Unison has become known for its immersive large-format events featuring international artists, and Overdrive for its monthly Thursday series spotlighting local talent, this event turns the focus inward. Crew members Jose Carbonell, 2HZY, and Jonnix will take over the decks, joined by special guest opener eRee, the Japan-born, Toronto-based artist.Across eight hours, expect an array of hypnotic techno filled with abstract minimalism, unpredictable mental trips, percussive grooves and spiralling psychedelia.Our friends at Florus will be providing big-room sound on their custom-built towering units.Dress to sweat: we’ll be going until the summer sunrise in Toronto’s Chinatown! by @itsjonnix
