Welcome to the 1%, big dogs!
Huge congratulations to June and Lexi on completing their first marathon!
June conquered Mount Whitney, his first 14er, earlier this year and now just crushed his first marathon with a sub 4 hour finish!
Lexi just started running in May and decided her first official race would be a full marathon. No 5K, no 10K, straight to 26.2 miles! She’s put in so much hard work and has come such a long way in just a few months.
These two are proof of what you can accomplish with discipline, consistency, and a strong work ethic.
Proud of you both! Welcome to the marathon club! by @itsjune83

The ones who showed up and put in the work got rewarded with a view like this.

Nobody made us be out there. Nobody was checking attendance. We showed up because that’s what we do. Put the work in when you could’ve easily stayed home. by @itsjune83

SUNDAY LONG RUN.

Welcome back, Rocky Hernandez! Good to have you back out there with us.

Some ran 3 miles. Some ran 6. Some ran 13. Some pushed all the way to 26.

Your long run is whatever “long” means to you that day. It’s not about somebody else’s distance or pace. It’s about training your body and your mind to push a little farther than before.

Everybody who showed up this morning came to challenge themselves, put in the work and get better.

Different distances. Different paces. Different goals. Just a good group of people showing up, encouraging each other and putting in the miles.

The only competition is with yourself. by @itsjune83

RUNNING FIGHT CLUB IS SHOWING UP. 🏃‍♂️

Hell of a Half — biggest group to show up.

Visalia Half — biggest group to show up.

And we’re not slowing down.

We’re coming to sweep the series and take over Judgment Day Half Marathon in October. 😤

This is what Running Fight Club is becoming. It’s not just about how many people are standing in the picture. It’s about how many people are willing to wake up early, put in the miles, suffer together, push each other and keep showing up when things get hard.

We train together. We race together. We suffer together. And we celebrate together.

Different paces. Different backgrounds. Different stories. But when we line up, we line up as RFC.

We’re building something different here.

Not just runners.

Warriors.

One race. One hard mile. One finish line at a time.

October… JUDGMENT DAY. ⚔️

We’re coming.

No music. No filters. Just 30 hours of raw footage.

Every step, every laugh, every struggle, every moment of silence. This is what suffering with good people looks like. This is what earning a summit feels like.

Mount Whitney doesn’t care how strong you think you are. It strips away your ego, tests your mind, and forces you to keep moving when every part of you wants to quit.

The summit is incredible, but the real reward is everything it takes to get there. The conversations, the pain, the encouragement, the memories, and the people willing to suffer beside you.

Some of the best moments in life don’t need music. They just need real people chasing something bigger than comfort.

Here’s 30 hours of grit, faith, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Every second was worth it. by @itsjune83

After a long month of July, the work didn’t stop.

A 35-mile ultra, a marathon, back-to-back 20-mile weekends, summiting Mount Whitney, and finishing the month at the Bakersfield Coffee League… and we still had the RFC crew show up for Sunday long run.

That’s discipline.

Showing up when you’re fresh is easy. Showing up when your legs are beat up, your body is tired, and your mind is telling you to stay home—that’s what builds you.

Proud of this crew. We don’t just talk about consistency. We live it.

See you next Sunday by @itsjune83

Mount Whitney doesn’t care how fast you are, what you’ve accomplished, or how many medals you own. It tests your mind just as much as your body. Every step gets harder, the air gets thinner, and quitting starts sounding pretty good. That’s where the real battle begins.

Huge congratulations to June and Sindy for conquering Mount Whitney.

Sindy has been on a roll. She ran a marathon earlier this month, then pushed herself to summit one of the highest peaks in the lower 48. That takes grit, discipline, and a willingness to embrace the suffering when most people would turn back.

June has been putting in the work with RFC week after week. He’s the kind of person who doesn’t wait until race day to prove himself. He even ran an ultramarathon for fun before running his first official marathon. That’s the mindset it takes to keep growing.

This mountain isn’t just about reaching the top. It’s about proving to yourself that you’re capable of more than you think. The summit is earned through thousands of small decisions to keep moving forward when your body wants to stop.

I’m proud of both of you. Keep chasing hard things. Keep choosing growth over comfort. That’s where the strongest version of yourself is built.

Every Sunday, a few more people show up. One by one, this crew keeps growing, not because running gets easier, but because they’re willing to do hard things.

Long runs have a way of revealing who you are. They strip away the excuses, humble your ego, and teach you how to keep moving when your body wants to quit. That’s where this crew is built.

I’m proud of every single person who keeps showing up. These aren’t just runners. These are people who know how to suffer with purpose, encourage the person next to them, and keep putting one foot in front of the other when the miles get long.

That’s what Running Fight Club is all about. We don’t run because it’s easy. We run because hard things change us.

See you next Sunday. 🤘🏃

On Friday, we put ourselves to the test. Some of us ran all 35 miles. Some carried the Running Fight Club flag. Some volunteered at aid stations. Others jumped in for a few miles to support the team.

This morning, we were back at it.

Not to chase a pace or prove anything, but to recover the right way. Recovery miles get the blood flowing, help your body heal, and prepare you for the next challenge. They’re just as important as the hard days.

Real progress isn’t made by one big effort. It’s built by consistently showing up, even when your legs are tired and your body is sore.

The work continues. Stay disciplined. Trust the process.

Do hard things. If you’re not growing, you’re dying. by @itsjune83

Mt Whitney didn’t start at the trailhead.

A few days before the summit, the RFC crew headed to Big Pine Lakes, climbing to 10,000 feet to help me acclimate and prepare for what was ahead. We earned the views, jumped into an ice cold alpine lake, and reminded ourselves that growth happens long before the big moment.

They didn’t climb Mount Whitney with me, but they helped me get there. Sometimes the people who push you, challenge you, and help prepare you for the hard things are just as important as the ones standing beside you at the finish.

The summit gets the attention, but the preparation is where the work is done.

Find yourself a solid group of friends who push your limits, challenge your excuses, and encourage you to grow. Those are the people who truly care about you.

If you’re not growing, you’re dying.

28 years old.
28 miles.
One birthday we’ll never forget.

Most people celebrate with cake.
We celebrated with suffering.

Happy Birthday, Sindy. Thanks for giving us another excuse to do something ridiculous.

28 for 28. At your own risk.

Sunday long runs. Same meeting spot. Same early mornings. Different goals.

Some are training for their 111th marathon.
Some are chasing their very first.
But every Sunday, everybody shows up and puts the work in.

No shortcuts. No excuses. Just people committed to becoming stronger than they were last week.

That’s what makes Running Fight Club special. Rain or shine, we show up. by @itsjune83
