Our hearts overflow with excitement and gratitude for this precious miracle. We’ve already learned so much but the greatest lesson has been leaning into Gods sovereignty. His goodness remains unshaken—whether prayers are answered in an instant, over the years, or on the other side of eternity. Trust in His plan, always.

An appreciation post for my wife as we are 19 days out from our HYROX race. 🚀

It’s been a little over a year postpartum and I’ve watched her grow a human, sacrifice her body, show up for our daughter and then turn around and train harder than most people I know. Getting to come alongside her has been one of the coolest things I’ve ever done because I get a front row seat to what resilience actually looks like every single day. I’m so proud of you! 🫶🏽

Today our sweet little girl turns 1️⃣! 🥺 Who knew that a year ago how much our lives would’ve changed just by you being a part of it. God knew I needed you and I am so thankful The Lord gave me the most beautiful little girl. You bring so much joy and happiness in the rooms you already walk into.

I pray that when you get older you get to look back at these moments and know that you are loved and that you are truly a blessing from God. I can’t want to see the woman you’ll become and all of the amazing things you’re going to do in this world. It is truly one of the greatest honors of my life to be your dada. I stepped away from social media for the last 5 days to reset as we entered a week of prayer and fasting as a church.

And honestly… my soul needed it.

There’s something powerful about intentionally slowing down, getting quiet, and putting our eyes back on Jesus.

Prayer reminds us who we’re dependent on.
Fasting reminds us what truly satisfies.
And surrender reminds us that His will is always better than ours.

I love these seasons as a church because they bring us back to the main thing.

Our eyes fixed on Jesus.
Our hearts recentered on His will.
Our spirits in tune with His.

And as a Pastor, one of my greatest desires is to never let the miracles, answered prayers, breakthroughs, and praise reports we experience become ordinary.

May we never become so familiar with God’s goodness that we stop being amazed by it.

May we never lose the wonder.

May we never stop standing in awe of a God who still moves, still answers, still heals, still provides, and still changes lives.

Looking back on this week, there’s really only one word that comes to mind:

GRATEFUL.

Jesus, we’re grateful for who You are, for what You’ve done, and for everything You’re still going to do.
