You don’t need hours for playtime to count. Just set a 10-15 minute timer.

Based on my personal experience working with parents in these exact situations, I know how much guilt they carry around “not doing enough.” But research shows that present, back-and-forth interactions during play literally shape your child’s brain (Romeo et al., 2018; Harvard Center on the Developing Child, 2023). It’s not about the length. It’s about the connection.

And what’s better than having a little cheat sheet to guide you through enriching interactions?

Hi, I’m Kathy 🩷 Bilingual speech therapist, Columbia grad, and bilingual toddler mom. I’ve been working on something I’m SO excited to finally share: a resource for parents who want to connect with their kids through play but don’t always know what to say or do.

More details coming soon. Drop a 🩷 below if you want first access to the waitlist 🙂‍↔️✨

Tbh I felt convicted after stumbling on this parable in Matthew 25:14-30 😅 Sometimes we are so used to being in autopilot that we don’t even realize when we are actually running on fear. But when our fears are greater than our ability to see clearly, we can surrender all to the Lord, and he finds the best way to guide us - even our finances 🫶🏻

I was sooo exhausted after the ComicCon and totally forgot to take a video at the end of the day 😅 buuut let me just tell you my overall thoughts: my makeup looked so good by the end of the day, I think the spray worked well especially given how much i walked and sweat that day! Lol My @lorealparis liner (in color blue suede) did not budge at all! Tbh I didn’t put on too much blush on so next time I’ll try it out with a more glam look! I didn’t use my usual matte lipstick so that faded a bit as expected. All in all I’d give it a strong 8/10 for my regular everyday makeup looked:) if you’re on the fence - deff try it out! also, huge thank you to @lorealparis and @andreacasanova for putting it all together 🩷

Last night was amazinggg, I felt so seen and celebrated for the first time ever as a creator 🥹 Grateful to have been a part of the conversation and been invited to this event. Personally, I’ve been on mom mode for the last 4 years so getting back into a space where I feel I can feel a sense of self and build community with other creators was nothing short of magical. I met so many wonderful like-minded women! Thank you to @andreacasanova for being “Berraca” like they say in Colombia aka a DO-er and putting this beautiful event together. Also thanks to all the sponsors for making it possible! Excited for more to come! P.S: in true Latino style we got to keep the flower vases at the end 🙂‍↔️😜✨🪩💐
