Nano, today marked 5 months till your 100th Birthday!🎉

The year is 2012, your brown buick is parked on the corner of amberglades. You’re waving at me as I’m getting off the bus. You’re drinking a McDonald’s mocha frappe, and have apple pies for all my friends. We go home, you put on your white long sweater and turn on young and restless. You yell my name to come down stairs, and stand in your doorway, and give me a signal… the signal is a hershey chocolate bar and a twenty dollar bill sticking out of your pocket.

I love you, thanks for being my best friend. I’ll make sure to check the mail, and continue to “deposit your check”! Give Baba, Aunty Alice, Aunty Clara, Patches, Paxton and everyone else a hug for me. I’ll see you one day somewhere over the rainbow.
