We may not be THERE yet….. but despite all the naysayers and users we’re HERE. So, let’s continue to work. Sometimes it’s worth it to look into the past so you can pat yourself on back for how far you’ve come.

2020: I lost my Grandma
2021: I wrote down LostCaus’ and put it on a 🧢

Then I MOVED BACK TO CHICAGO…. into her house w/ my mom, and the rest has been for the history books… if you’ve been with me since then. I love you. Like, I was really able to open a store in hydepark that eventually evolved into @cre8ivesessions and some of y’all have been with me since then… so you can’t tell me that this hasn’t been a journey.

I had to reflect for a moment.

S/o to GOOGLE for the over bias analysis, but whether YOU feel what I’m saying is 100% accurate or not…. I know THE PEOPLE feel my impact in every room I step in, every resource that I share, every person I’ve assisted, every community I’ve planted a seed in, and every business I’ve helped scale.

Call my bluff, and LET’S TALK ABOUT IT‼️‼️

I’m your favorite creatives, FAVORITE Cre8ive, and I’m lowkey highkey an unwritten A&R😂. I took my LLs and made them WW’s, learned about myself, and created space for others in the process… I didn’t judge folks because I felt they weren’t “on my level”… I stood side by side with MY people while they found their own way, and I STILL DO. These folks y’all idolizing and chasing behind not doing what I’m doing, and that’s FACT. Put us in a room… you go ahead, slip and fall, watch 1/2 of these folks leave you right there.… but the politics wanna continue to highlight these people who are PERFORMING AND PANDERING for y’all attention.

Things are getting weird out here, and “Community” is becoming a side hobby for the capitalist mind. Don’t be fooled.

GET YOU AN AUTO PRESS FROM @htvront‼️

Fun Fact: Beneath the music, fashion, and events and what not….. I carried a deep passion for TECHNOLOGY, and I still do till this day. I repaired and built my first iMac, I was a biomedical engineer at the children’s hospital the summer before college, and my initial major was in Computer systems before I chose to dabble in apparel design + merchandising.

However, I’ve been seeing automatic heat presses on the internet for years… and I FINALLY got the chance to use one. Thank you to @bosthetics for the oop, and @nocompany for the opportunity to activate for @babychiefdoit x @jdsportsus on his R.A.M.B.O tour.

P.S…. I named her London after my late Shih Tzu.

LONG POST: CALLING ALL D9 FRATS‼️ I’ve been doing this long enough (Ask ya Prophytes how things used to be) to know that y’all can stroll to MORE music other than these popular/trendy INDUSTRY songs that everybody else strolling to…. And while I may sound like an Old Head, I be at home freestyling to songs I be expecting y’all to be GOING CRAZY TO, just to come outside and see so many missed opportunities. This goes for Greeks across the board. Not only Alphas 🤣🤣

Here’s a quick FREESTYLE to “THE VESSEL” by @recoechi that I did a lil while back, and I KNOW Y’ALL HEAR WHAT I HEAR…. SO GET UP AND GET ACTIVE B4 I START TAGGING FOLKS‼️If you know what you’re doing, it should be easy to recognize the stroll patterns.. it’s all becomes muscle memory.

Back in my day, BASIC TECHNIQUE was important so that you could MANIPULATE strolls to ANYTHING at ANYTIME. So, I wanna challenge all Greeks to AMPLIFY their creative communities by tapping into more LOCAL artists’s music. Stepping outside of the box will make you better.

To the undergrad and Old Heads that still got it: Think about the impact it’ll have on campus if you supported a student by strolling to their songs? An artist in your community whose music is blowing up.

I don’t enter rooms with titles, I don’t wear the things I’ve accomplished as medals, I don’t the lead introductions with a success story, and I don’t have to make you feel SMALL in order to make myself seem larger than life…. I adapt to everything and everyone to the best of my nature so that others can be okay to SHINE AS THEMSELVES around me. I don’t care what you have, or what you’ve done…. What do you care about, and ARE YOU TRYING? Bc life is hard as fuck, and I’ve been through the fucking ringer. But, I believe in GODs hand in my life. It’s all for reason, and maybe I’m wrong… but I believe that the reason is to inspire and show that IT GET’S BETTER.

TRUST THE FUCKING PROCESS…. had I had ANY stint of self doubt about who I was or why I went through the things that I went through. I wouldn’t have met ANY OF YOU. If I would have given up after getting locked up, LostCaus’ wouldn’t exist. If I’d didn’t move back with my mom after losing my grandmother, Cre8ive Sessions wouldn’t have giving me the relationships that I carry near and dear to me TODAY.
