You guys… this is the hardest goodbye of my life
I’ve lived in Pleasant Grove my whole life, ive never known anything different. I feel very satisfied with the life ive lived and the friends i have made, theres nothing i would change about that. Taking the next step in life is always hard and complicated but without that leap of faith, you get no where. Comfort is the enemy of progress.

I am going to miss every single one of you with all my heart, being without my friends has always been hard on me. All of my lifeguards!! Leaving you guys might be the hardest on me! I didnt work there long but being a lifeguard was the time of my LIFE!! That job was a BLESSING!! All of my senior friends, yall mean the world to me! You guys made my senior year eventful!! Ashlyn, Bree, Makay, and Jacob!! You guys have been my best friends for so long! I feel like i didnt get a proper goodbye! You guys kept me grounded but gave me SO MUCH joy, i appreciate yall putting up with my “go go go” personality!
To my family, all my aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings, and parents, ive been reminiscing on my childhood, and i wish i hadnt took those moments for granted, you never realized how blessed you are until its gone
I wish i could have built more memories with you guys, like at the cabin for Grandma’s 80th, that was a top highlight of my life!

Ive had a lot of close friends throughout my life and i am forever grateful for all of them who dealt with my overly-bubbly personality, but for Jacob that was a whole other level of tolerance! All the times i said “we’re doing this, lets go do that” never giving him a time to catch his breath and though it probably drove him crazy, he always said yes. I miss you bro i wish you could have been one of my comps.

I leave tomorrow morning, and though its so hard to let go to whats been my home for 18 years, im very optimistic about the opportunity i have to serve the people of Costa Rica for 2 years!
