I’ve officially reached 1 year of being a full-time model, actress, and host! ⭐️

1 year of living fully by faith.
1.5 years of building community in a new city.
1 year of highs, lows, growth, stretching, trusting, and becoming.

Wow… a lot can change in a year ❤️

Speaking of community… THANK YOU @mariamqmedia for capturing this beautiful moment and for creating spaces that empower women. I loveddd being part of this project, your direction and energy is unmatched. Go book with her!! ✨

And of course, I have to shout out my girls @brittanymck__ & @dorcashaguyu for being such a huge help this day 🥰 taken in Los Angeles, California by @itslarisadee

Introducing your official red carpet host gal! ✨🎤

My first red carpet hosting/press role for a movie premiere, Daniel and the Fiery Furnace! 🎥🔥

What’s so special is that this is a faith driven film based on the Book of Daniel, how ironic God can be right as I took a leap of Faith in this moment? 🤭

Thank you @redcarpetacademyla @popfuziontv & @francescaellana for this opportunity! I traveled to Nashville to interview notable actors and actors making their movie debuts 🫶🏽

WOW, this was scary, exciting, and such a learning experience. I put all my hosting training and practice to the test. Now I’ll let YOU be the judge! 😍 Interviews coming soon! 🎤✨ taken in Nashville, Tennessee by @itslarisadee

Today’s Affirmation: You Are Loved 🧡🧡

Another year around the sun was spent with my beautiful sister, friends and some hot LA sun ☀️ it’s funny how life moves quick yet slow. We keep our heads down/forward & never look back until one day we do… the versions of who we used to be slowly shedded away…

Our values became more firm and stronger as we grew. OR looking back reminds us of what matters most if we’ve lost sight of it…

As I reflected on my last birth year, this is all of what I felt. I am truly blessed. I am genuinely shocked at how life has changed over the past year & especially past 5 years.

Someone asked me what I’m looking forward to most… growth, getting closer to who God wants me to be & kicking up my on-camera host endeavors all came to mind. But honestly & most importantly, I am looking forward to loving others & to be loved. That’s all that matters at the end of the day, right?

I haven’t done a long post like this in a while lol but if you have any reflections, I invite you to share. XOXO - Risa🧡 by @itslarisadee
