I’m so excited to announce my new role as Director of Industry Relations at Berklee. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to support and guide students as they step into the music industry. This role holds so much purpose for me, as I get to help bridge the gap between education and the industry, empowering future talent to connect, create, and thrive in this ever-evolving landscape.

Life is about adjusting and adapting, and transitions like this are essential to growth while staying grounded in purpose. Relocating from LA to Boston has been a big step, and I couldn’t have done it without the unwavering support of my family. Thank you to my beautiful wife @brittofeverything for holding us up every step of the way. Here’s to new beginnings and building a meaningful impact.

P.S. Looks like I’m rooting for the Celtics, but only when they’re not playing the Hawks.

PPS: Boston needs a WNBA team. The Sun are the closest W team to Boston so looks like I’m rooting for them, but only when they’re not playing the Dream.

Better late than never… Grammy Week.

First one since joining Berklee, and it was a good one. It was great reconnecting with so many people across the industry, meeting new folks, and representing Berklee throughout the week. by @itslatoyalee

K, you already know what it is!

11 years ago, I told you I was proud of the woman you were becoming. I meant it then, and I mean it even more now. Watching you evolve, elevate, and truly flourish has been beautiful to witness.

I’ve always been a fan and supporter of you, and that hasn’t changed.

You’re getting everything you not only worked for, but truly deserve.

I’m so happy for you, K! I love the new album — it’s been on repeat since it dropped.

Swipe for my personal favorites.

This past Sunday, I celebrated another birthday, and this year it also happened to be Father’s Day.

When those two days collide, I always have conflicting feelings. I’m celebrating another year of life while also grieving the father I haven’t had since I was 19 years old.

Grief is really funny like that. One Father’s Day I’m fine. The next Father’s Day I’m not. Grief just keeps showing up, even almost 20 years later.

When my wife asked me what I wanted for my birthday, my answer was simple: a spa day. She made it happen (thank you so much baby!!! 🥺), and honestly, it was exactly what I needed. It gave me the space to reset, and take care of my head (literally), my face, my body, and my mind.

As much as I tried not to think about it being Father’s Day, I could still feel it. Grief has a way of quietly making its presence known, even in moments that are filled with peace and joy. It reminded me that healing isn’t about pretending the pain isn’t there — it’s about allowing yourself to hold both gratitude and grief at the same time.

Still, I’m incredibly grateful. Grateful for another year of life, for the lessons that continue to shape me, for the growth I’ve experienced, and for the opportunity to keep evolving into the person I’m becoming.

Thank you to everyone who reached out and wished me a Happy Birthday. It really meant a lot and I don’t take any of it for granted.

Here’s to another year of life — living with purpose and continuing to move forward with gratitude. by @itslatoyalee

Before I relocated from LA to Boston for Berklee, I remember telling @victoriamonet that once I got settled, I was going to reach out and bring her to campus.

So almost a year later, when I reached out about honoring her as the 2026 Berklee Career Jam Keynote and she hit me back immediately and said yes, it meant a lot to me.

And honestly, that’s what made this whole moment special. Not just having Victoria as the keynote, but the way she showed up. Fully present. Open. Intentional. Honest.

From the very beginning, the energy was there. But as the conversation went on, what stood out most was the depth of it. Conversations about confidence, identity, artistry, growth, business, relationships, and what it means to hold onto yourself while evolving.

Those are the kinds of conversations I care about creating. Not just access, but real perspective from people willing to be honest.

Vic, I appreciate you trusting me with the conversation and pouring into our students the way you did.

Moments like this remind me why the work matters. taken in Berklee College of Music by @itslatoyalee

I had the opportunity to moderate a great panel at Music Biz 2026 on building generational wealth in today’s entertainment industry.

Really grateful to continue growing in this space and being trusted to lead conversations with such incredible people in the room. There’s something I genuinely enjoy about bringing different perspectives together and helping create conversations that feel engaging, honest, and impactful.

Appreciate everyone who poured into this one.

Thank you @thelaurencamp for making the introduction and to @rgooden360 @cjcook and @julianschubach for trusting me to lead the conversation.

Grateful for the opportunity and looking forward to continuing to build in this space and be part of more conversations that move the industry forward. by @itslatoyalee

@alexaa.nicoleee, your zone is different. Your swag showed from rehearsal to the stage. The raw talent is undeniable, but what stands out even more is how authentically you show up as yourself. That can’t be taught.

You command a moment naturally, and it was amazing watching you fully step into your artistry on stage.

@biniwitdagap, everything you said you wanted to do — you did. Not just in rehearsal, but on that stage too. You had a vision from the very beginning, and watching you bring it to life in real time was special to see.

But beyond that, you were incredible with every single performer. Coaching your peers isn’t easy, and you made it look effortless. Your patience, leadership, and willingness to pour into the people around you did not go unnoticed.

Y’all were deep in your bag like a grandma with a peppermint.

@keemetajudeen and @miaalysse_, I want to commend the two of you for your professionalism. The talent speaks for itself, but your professionalism matters just as much.

No notes — the preparation, intention, and care were already there. You both just wanted to make sure you gave this tribute justice while still staying true to yourselves and making it your own — and you absolutely did that.

That balance is special.

How does it make you feel knowing you’re leaving a lasting legacy at Berklee?

I’m excited to moderate my first panel at the Music Biz Conference next week.

We talk a lot about success in this industry—but not enough about what it takes to sustain it. This conversation is about building real, long-term wealth, from the first check to ownership and legacy.

If you’re at Music Biz, I’d love to connect!
