The most beautiful part of finding the love of your life is realizing that every single step leading to that moment was carefully crafted by God. I’m grateful that we were both on our individual paths, striving to become the best versions of ourselves, fully embracing our own unique journeys.

Before I met Colby, he was already in my prayers. I prayed for God to guide us both individually and prepare our hearts for the day our paths would cross. I visualized him long before I ever saw him. I felt his warmth, his presence, his love…even when I didn’t yet know his name. Those prayers were my act of faith, my way of holding on to the belief that love like this was possible.

For so long, people told me I was being too particular in my search for love. But I never wavered. I believed in my fairytale love…the kind of love that could conquer anything, that could change the world and make it brighter, kinder, and better. I held out for a love that wasn’t just about the two of us but about the lives we could impact together.

Today, I sit with a heart overflowing with gratitude for every single moment, decision, and challenge that brought me here.

The dress I’m wearing in these photos is also an act of faith. I purchased this vintage 1920s pearled hand-crocheted treasure from @thehouseoffindings in 2020. From the moment I saw it, I knew it was meant for something special: my engagement. For years, it sat folded neatly in tissue paper, tucked away in a box, patiently waiting for its moment.

One of the most meaningful things I have are these tokens of faith…like this dress, like my journals filled with prayers for him. They remind me of how, even before Colby was in my life, he was already a part of it. A love story perfectly crafted by The Creator of this universe.

We soulmated so hard, we made another heart ♥️✨ Life has such mysterious ways of reminding us how precious and fragile it can be. After being completely blindsided by the heartbreak of this past week, one thing has settled even more deeply into my heart: how incredibly grateful I am to have you beside me through it all.

You make even the darkest moments feel a little lighter. I feel so blessed to love you, to do life with you, and to grow closer through every chapter, both the beautiful ones and the painful ones. My sweet baby boy,

For the last nine months, I don’t think anyone has been more excited than you to meet Baby L. You were my 24/7 protector, my companion, my shadow, my buddy and my sweet fluffy-man. With every step I took, you were always one step ahead, leading and protecting me. My bump became your favorite hanging out spot and you even slept beside her crib at nights, waiting so eagerly for her arrival.

My heart breaks knowing you left us far too soon. I had so many dreams of watching you love her, protect her, and care for her as deeply as you cared for us. Then, in the blink of an eye, at the most unexpected and happiest of times, you went to Heaven. I’ll never be able to understand why now, but maybe some things are never meant to be understood.

Thank you for loving us so deeply, for always taking care of us, and for bringing so much happiness into our lives. You were incredibly smart, the very best cuddler, and the sweetest free spirit. Your adventures will live in our hearts forever, and I will make sure our children learn about all your legendary stories.

Thank you for taking such good care of your dad all these years. I promise I will love him and care for him as fiercely and unconditionally as you always did.

My mom @lyndadiazz poured months and months of love, thought, and preparation into creating the most beautiful, whimsical baby shower for Baby L. 🧚🏻‍♀️✨🤍 Seeing every detail she had dreamed of and carefully planned finally come to life was incredibly special. She created a truly magical afternoon, one that I will carry in my heart forever.

Mom, thank you for giving us such a beautiful day and for making every single detail feel so thoughtful and full of love. From the moment I walked in, I could feel how much of your heart you had poured into making this celebration so special for us. I don’t think I could ever fully express how grateful I am. 🤍

And then, to see the room filled with my family, my best friends, and all of Baby L’s beautiful fairy godmothers made it even more meaningful. Everyone showed up with the most loving energy, laughter, and excitement for this little girl who isn’t even here yet and is already loved beyond measure. 🧚🏻‍♀️

As I step into this new chapter of motherhood, I feel so grateful for the beautiful community God has blessed me with. Knowing Baby L will grow up surrounded by so much love, and by such incredible women who will cheer her on, guide her, protect her, and remind her how deeply loved she has always been, is one of the greatest gifts I could ask for.

Not only the whimsical details my mom brought to life, but the laughter, the emotion, the friendships, and most importantly, the love behind it all. As I pursue my purpose, I knew I wanted to learn from someone whose teachings I deeply admired and whose walk of life reflected the values they shared. I wasn’t just looking for a certification. I was looking for a mentor and leader whose example I genuinely respected. For me, that’s @jayshetty .

Out of so many talented students and coaches, I had the opportunity to ask him one question:

“What did you have to unlearn to become the coach, entrepreneur, and leader you are today?”

His answer couldn’t have met me at a better time.

He spoke about unlearning the identities we create for ourselves. The labels that quietly become limitations.

He reminded us that inexperience is not the same as weakness. That perfection is an impossible standard. That successful people don’t fail less. They simply fail more because they’re willing to keep showing up.

But the lesson that stayed with me most was this:

As an artist at heart, he realized that if he wanted his art to reach people, he had to become an entrepreneur. Not because entrepreneurship was his identity, but because it became the vehicle that allowed his purpose to travel further.

That resonated deeply.

His words reminded me that we don’t have to fit ourselves into a single identity. We don’t have to choose one version of who we are when our purpose calls us to grow beyond it.

We are allowed to evolve.

We are allowed to become many things in service of one mission.

I’m incredibly grateful for this conversation and for the opportunity to learn from someone whose work has inspired me long before I joined this program.

Some conversations don’t just answer a question.

They give you permission to become the person you’re already growing into.
