I’ve been quietly working on something behind the scenes, and if you know me or you’ve been to @idartsy you already know what it is.

I became an independent distributor with RIMAN, the #1 Korean Skincare in South Korea and I’m incredibly excited to be part of the company’s global expansion. Being involved in helping introduce these products to new people and new markets has been such an exciting experience, and honestly, it feels like a full-circle moment for me.

And before anyone asks no, I’m not leaving permanent makeup. PMU is still a huge part of my life and business. This is simply another side of the beauty industry that I’m excited to grow in.

What drew me to this opportunity is that it brings me back to why I went to school for master aesthetics in the first place: skin.

Long before permanent makeup, I was fascinated by skin health and helping people feel confident in their own skin. That foundation has influenced every part of my career in beauty, and it’s exactly why I fell in love with these products.

Seeing the transformations in people dealing with acne, rosacea, eczema, sensitivity, psoriasis and other skin concerns has been incredible. As someone who has worked in beauty for over 20 years, it takes a lot to impress me and these results absolutely have.

We’re not turning the studio into a medspa or adding esthetic services. What we will be doing is educating others about what RIMAN is all about and we will be having guided facial experiences where people can learn about the products and try them for themselves.

I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity and excited for this new chapter. In a short period of time, I’ve already advanced to the rank of Senior Manager, and I’m looking forward to continuing to learn, grow, and help more people discover products that are making such a positive impact.

Four friends, four favorites, and one thing we can all agree on: we LOVE our @weareriman skincare!

✨ @justjennipur favorite: The viral Collagen Face Masks. Because who doesn’t love a little extra glow?

✨ @itslizzeth favorite: The Makeup Setting Spray. The perfect finishing touch to keep your makeup looking fresh!

✨ @crystalwalent favorite: The Multi-Stick Balm. This little multitasker does it all! For dry patches and areas where you want extra hydration, under eyes, eyelids, lips, etc… It’s also great as a moisturizing layer under makeup to help prevent that dry, cakey look.

✨ @msglowandgrow favorite: The Booster, aka our “Botox in a bottle.” The one she keeps coming back to!

Five years later and she STILL won’t let anybody else touch her brows. ❤️

She flew in from Chicago in the morning, came straight to see me for her brow refresh, decided it was finally time for a smoky eyeliner too and flew back home in the afternoon.

The fact that someone would literally get on a plane because they trust my hands that much? I will never take that lightly. 🥹

Thank you for trusting me all these years. Now enjoy those fresh brows AND that new smoky liner. 🖤

The brow artist is now in my treatment chair. 🤍

Meet my beautiful and talented friend Lizzeth, founder of @idartsy . She is the artist behind my brows and lip blush and has also treated many of my clients. Her brow PMU was done over eight years ago, and now we’re beginning her removal journey.

PMU brow removal is not one-and-done. It may require two, three, or more sessions spaced approximately 6-8 weeks apart. The number of treatments depends on the pigment formula, color, depth, age, and how your skin responds.

Sometimes we don’t discover the full pigment story until the first session. As darker pigment clears, hidden red, orange, or yellow tones may appear. Because Lizzeth is an experienced PMU artist, she knew exactly which pigments were used information many clients simply don’t have.

Dark brow hairs may also temporarily turn white because the laser energy can be absorbed by the melanin within the hair. The natural color typically returns as the hair grows, often within approximately 3-6 weeks.

Lizzeth had a beautiful response to her first treatment and will likely need another two to three sessions. I cannot wait to share her progress and the beautiful new brows she creates once her removal journey is complete. 🤍

Some moments are hard to put into words because you don’t just attend them, you feel them. ❤️

The Women Empower Summit by @womenempowerglobal was one of those moments for me ✨ This one was especially meaningful because I’ve had the privilege of watching two women 💫 @crystalwalent 💫@iambeckylee who are so close to my heart take an idea, believe in it, work for it, and turn it into something that is now impacting an entire community. Watching what they’ve built from the very beginning to what it has become today makes me incredibly proud.

The room was filled with powerhouse women; women building, leading, dreaming bigger, supporting one another, and genuinely wanting to see other people win. There is something so powerful about being surrounded by that kind of energy.

I was also so grateful to be part of the summit as a vendor with some of my DBK team mates sharing RIMAN, connecting with so many incredible women, having meaningful conversations, and simply being part of a day centered around growth, connection, and empowerment.

To my beautiful friends behind Women Empower: seeing your vision come to life has been incredible. What you’re creating is bigger than an event. You’re creating community, opening doors, and reminding people what can happen when we choose to lift one another up.
