Watching you become a wife was one of those moments I don’t think I’ll ever have the right words for. 🥹🤍

You’ve always been more than my big sister. You’ve loved me, protected me, fussed at me 😂, celebrated me, and been one of my safest places for as long as I can remember.

So getting to stand beside you while you got into your dress, watch you walk down that aisle, and then dance with your HUSBAND 😭… whew. There was something so beautiful about watching someone who has spent so much of her life loving and protecting everyone else be loved and protected in return.

And Jarvis, I love you, I love the way you love my sister, and I couldn’t have picked a better person to call my brother. 🤍

My sister became Mrs. Francis, I officially gained a brother, and somehow our family got even better. 🥹🤍💍

For Flashback Friday in addition to reminiscing on my birthday festivities last week🙃...I wanted to reflect upon my 34 years of life. After thinking about my disappointments, heartache, heart break, life’s test, trials, and tribulations...I could be bitter, guarded and demeaning...but being the rebel (4 a cause) that I am I choose to focus on the good NOT the bad😜.....During a time where there’s less love and more hate...I choose LOVE. Amongst a culture that wants to throw the whole “...” away, I choose to FORGIVE quickly, in a world that chooses to “call people out” and tear them down, I choose to reach out and PUSH/pull them up; and with so many people being driven by the approvals of others regardless of the purpose, I choose to live PURPOSEFULLY intentional without regard for approval. Will there be heartbreak? Yes, will there be disappointment? Absolutely! But I want to embrace everything that God has blessed me with and share it with the people around me. I am SO thankful for what I have thus far, and excited about HIS plans for me in the future. #lovehard #forgivequickly #livepurposefully by @itslpd
