I felt lonely not because I've no one around me, I've my lovely family and two friends. But because they don't understand my feelings, my dreams, my desires, my thoughts even after shared my thoughts.

And that's totally fine, not everyone can understand feelings of each other and I learnt this with time.

Somewhere along the way, it became a space where I met myself. 🤍

I learned what I want.
What I don't want.
What deserves my energy.
And what dreams I don't want to give up on.

I'm still learning, but I'm no longer afraid of my own company and literally I enjoy myself a lot.

Maybe loneliness didn't give me all the answers…
but it taught me to listen to myself.
And maybe this is self-love.

Every month, when my period comes, I try to remind myself to slow down a little.

I’ve realised I don’t always need to push through the tiredness, the mood swings or the days when I just don’t feel like myself.

Sometimes I just need a warm drink, a little extra rest, comfortable clothes, some quiet time… and to be a little kinder to myself.

And honestly, I’m still learning to do that without feeling guilty.

So if you’re on your period today too, take this as your little reminder from one woman to another:

you don’t have to do it all today. Take care of yourself. 🫶🏻

I’ve spent a lot of time waiting for the “right time.”

To feel ready.
To feel confident.
To know exactly what I’m doing.

But maybe you don't always need to feel ready to begin.

So I'm starting with what I have, learning as I go, and figuring things out along the way. 🤍

I don't know where this will take me yet…
but I'm excited to find out.
