What a weekend!! 🏆

The kids raced in the Canadian BMX Championships in St. Albert. They have both put a lot of work into learning the sport, attending camps and extra practises, and challenging themselves. Watching them this weekend showed how their hard work is paying off.

We love watching them grow as people and find things they’re passionate about. They both made new friends, connected with old friends, and even got to race with some cousins (4th?).

BOTH kids earned National plates and got to podium! What a surreal moment to hear their names and watch them on the podium.

This girl. She’s putting in work. She’s coming back to BMX this year stronger and about 1.5” taller! Can’t wait to see all that she does; it’s going to be a great season! 🤘🏼🚲 by @itsmaddyoh

Our adventure to Ixtapa Island 🏖️
.
.
We had an interesting bus ride on public transportation and then a short water taxi ride. Our first stop had a crocodile sanctuary!

The water was beautiful and the sand was so soft! The beaches were lined with local restaurants and lounge chairs to relax. It was a perfect day! by @itsmaddyoh

The first season of BMX comes to an end! 🚲 🎉
It has been so awesome to watch both kids improve over the season - they overcame fears, pedalled hard, and learned SO much. We are so proud of the hard work they have put into this sport. We finished the season off with race day wins - 1st in all 3 races for both kids! 🥇 Can’t wait for next year!

Christmas 2024 ☀️ We spent 10 magical days on the beaches of Ixtapa. Mom and Evan joined us on the 26th, we had many laughs and made so many special memories. So grateful for this life and the special people I get to share it with. Cheers to 2025 ✨ by @itsmaddyoh
