MORE brands I’ve worked with 10 months into monetizing as a Canadian creator 🇨🇦 Building a content creator career in Canada can feel different when so much creator advice and so many opportunities seem US-focused — but there are absolutely brand deals, UGC opportunities, influencer campaigns and long-term partnerships here too. Part 2 of the brands I’ve worked with since I started monetizing my content in 2026. Sharing the wins AND what each one taught me along the way. 🤍 #CanadianCreator #TorontoCreator #ContentCreator #UGCCreator #BrandDeals BrandCollaborations CreatorJourney InfluencerMarketing UGCCanada TorontoContentCreator, Canadian content creator, Toronto creator, UGC creator Canada, Canadian brand deals, influencer marketing Canada, how to get brand collaborations, creator journey, making money as a content creator Canadian creator reminder: different market ≠ no opportunities. Some of mine came from pitching, some from posting, and some completely found me. 👀 Still wild to me that one email turned into one of my biggest creator experiences this year. This collab really changed how I think about outreach. This one made me look at my feed differently. You really never know which random post is quietly becoming your next portfolio piece. Seeing your own campaign out in the wild is such a weird feeling 😭 equal parts “please don’t look at me” and “wait… that’s actually so cool.” This felt extra special because it wasn’t just a brand I recognized — it was one already in our household. My mom is 100% benefiting from this collab too lol. Creator timing can be so random. We were literally furnishing our first place, and then this landed in my inbox. One of those partnerships that felt genuinely useful in real life too. The more I do this, the more I realize there isn’t one way opportunities happen. Outreach, inbound, old posts, relationships — it all compounds. Still figuring it out as I go, but I hope sharing this makes the Canadian creator path feel a little less mysterious. There’s more happening here than it sometimes looks like. 🇨🇦🤍 by @itsmaelam
This is your sign to film yourself, and everyone and everything around you. You'll only be in a certain place, at a certain time, once. Savor it. Capture the moment. So you can relive it someday... or maybe, 10 or 20 years from now, someone will look at it and think, "Wow... you must've had the time of your life." And you'll be like, "Heck yeah." #travelwithus #canadiancontentcreator #canada #roadtrip #dogfriendly by @itsmaelam
It's cringe until it isn't ✨️ To that, I say… KEEP GOING. 👏 You might feel demotivated. You might feel judged by people who don't understand what you're doing. You might even question if any of this is worth it. But trust me when I say… LOCK IN. 🔒 Because the same content I once felt embarrassed to post is now helping me pay my bills, cover my rent, keep my fridge stocked, fill my skincare shelves, and open doors to travel opportunities I never imagined. And the best part? Getting to build a community of like-minded people who just GET IT. 🥹 None of this happened overnight, and I'm still figuring things out. But I'm so glad I didn't let the fear of looking cringe stop me. So consider this your sign to keep showing up. Even when nobody's watching. Even when the views aren't there. Give yourself a chance to see what happens when you don't quit. 🫶 And because I'll NEVER gatekeep what I've learned… 💌 Comment GROWTH and I'll send you the 5 checklists that completely changed how I approach content creation and helped me level up as a creator! We're growing together over here. 🤍 #ContentCreatorTips #CreatorGrowth #ContentCreationTips #PersonalBranding #UGCCreator SmallCreatorCommunity ContentCreatorJourney InstagramGrowth TorontoContentCreator by @itsmaelam

I'm getting married soon, and my first bridal glow-up appointment wasn't a facial or a beauty treatment… it was a dental cleaning! 🦷💍✨ Because between finding the perfect wedding dress, planning the big day, and getting all the bridal beauty prep done, there's one thing I don't want to overlook — my smile! 🤍 Kicking off my bridal smile journey with @flossydentistry here in Toronto, and I genuinely loved the experience! From having the condition of my teeth explained to me to relaxing with Netflix during my appointment, Shanaiah and Nina made me feel so comfortable and well taken care of. And to my Filipino girlies in Toronto 🇵🇭 — they both speak Tagalog, which made the experience feel even more like home! If you're looking for a dental cleaning in Toronto or starting your own bridal glow-up journey, definitely check out Flossy Dentistry & Hygiene Clinic! I NEVER memorize my scripts when filming Reels… and I'm reading one right now. 👀📱 If you've been avoiding talking-to-camera videos because you can't remember your lines, this FREE teleprompter hack might change everything! Day 4/30 of 30K Before 30: Creator Lessons I Wish I Knew Sooner ✨ One of my favourite content creation tools is the built-in teleprompter in Instagram's Edits app. It's completely free, and here's how I use it: 🎥 Open Edits and switch to the front camera. 📱 Set your recording quality to 4K at 30 FPS. 📝 Turn on the teleprompter and paste your script. ⚡ Adjust the scrolling speed and text size. ⏱️ Set a timer, hit record, and start talking! No memorizing scripts. No constantly forgetting your lines. Just an easier way to film talking-to-camera Reels. SAVE this for your next filming day! 🔖 And follow along as I share 30 creator tips, Instagram Reels hacks, and content creation lessons on my journey to 30K before 30. 🤍 #ContentCreatorTips #InstagramReelsTips #EditsApp #TeleprompterHack #ContentCreationTips by @itsmaelam

10 months into monetizing my content as a Canadian creator 🇨🇦 and I’m still learning as I go. This year has been a mix of pitching brands, getting ignored, hearing yes, building repeat partnerships, working with Canadian brands and global campaigns, and slowly figuring out what actually works for me as a content creator in Toronto. A few things I’ve learned: pitch the idea, not just yourself. Keep posting because brands are watching. Don’t be embarrassed to reach out first. And when a brand comes back for another campaign, that relationship matters. I’m sharing this because the Canadian creator space can feel a little harder to navigate when so much advice online is US-focused — but there are absolutely UGC opportunities, influencer campaigns and brand partnerships here too. And I’m also working on putting together a small Toronto creator hang soon 👀 so keep an eye out if you want to meet more creators, talk shop and build community offline too. Your year isn’t over yet. Keep going. 🤍 #CanadianCreator #TorontoCreator #ContentCreatorCanada #UGCCreatorCanada #BrandDeals BrandCollaborations InfluencerMarketingCanada TorontoContentCreator CreatorJourney UGCCreator CanadianInfluencer TorontoCreators by @itsmaelam

Blindfolded, competitive, and way too confident 😭🎃 We put 3 NERDS Gummy Clusters flavours to the test — including the limited-edition Spooky flavour — and tried to guess them all without looking. Toronto is getting one of the rarest photobooth experiences… and something you won't find ANYWHERE else in Canada! 👀📸 I got a sneak peek inside @autophoto before its grand opening, and this is NOT your typical photobooth experience! Coming straight from New York, this vintage photobooth museum features 6 restored black-and-white analogue photobooths, Canada's ONLY Polaroid photobooth, and almost 100 years of photobooth history! Think real film, old-school photo strips, and waiting for your pictures to develop. 🥹📸 And my favourite part? You can decorate your photostrips with stickers and markers, or even turn them into your own little keychain souvenir! 📍 AUTOPHOTO | 501 Queen St W, Toronto 🗓 Grand Opening: October 16, 2026 🎟 FREE museum admission (photostrips are paid) 🕛 Tuesday–Sunday | 12 PM–10 PM Save this for your next Toronto date idea or weekend adventure, and tag someone you'd take with you! 🤍 Thank you @autophoto & @fourposesphotobooth for the sneak peek! #TorontoThingsToDo #TorontoDateIdeas #TorontoHiddenGems #TorontoPhotobooth #AutoPhotoToronto TorontoEvents TorontoMuseums QueenStreetWest TorontoLifestyle TorontoContentCreator by @itsmaelam
