Hard Launch of my acting career 🎭🙌🏾 (I’ve been so nervous to do this lol) I shot my first reel with the amazing director of Supacell, @sebastianthiel @upshotreels at the end of 2024 and it was such an amazing experience it landed me quite a few auditions and my first ever acting role!

So thankful to God because he really ordains my steps, I put my passion for acting on hold to focus on media when I produced my first ever short film @deception2016 in which I casted myself a small role as I knew it was time to learn about production and post production, in terms of being behind the camera, editing, graphic design. I then started a YouTube channel where I was able to become really comfortable in front of a camera and still not focusing on my passion but now looking at everything I understand these stages were and are all working for my good because I’ve learnt so much that I know will be beneficial to my acting career….

So you can call me actress, media entrepreneur, creative etc. 😅 Looking forward to what God has in store for me as I continue to stay obedient to Him 🙏🏾

A little reminder sis 🤍

Be intentional about the people you keep around you. Surround yourself with people who strengthen your faith, encourage you to keep going, and remind you of what God is capable of, not people who plant seeds of fear, discourage you from pursuing your purpose, or make you feel like you need to shrink yourself.

The right people won’t dim the vision God has placed in your heart; they’ll encourage you to keep trusting Him as you walk it out!!

Choose your circle wisely, sis. Who you surround yourself with matters. 🤍

2 years ago today, I hopped off the plane at LAX into a new life. And now…this is the life 🥹

Looking back at the memories from this past year just makes me so, so grateful to the Lord. My first year in LA was about finding my feet, but this past year has been about building, from my acting career, to @mariamqmedia & @theybbnetwork

I also feel so blessed to be making connections with people who love and care for me. Having family & friends come to visit, and getting to explore places outside of the state I now call home.

Btw, this is my little highlight reel. That’s to say new levels come with new challenges (& tearsss), building comes with work, and growth comes with a whole lot of faith. And boy, do the nerves still creep in like, every day lol.

But I’ve held onto Philippians 4:6 & 1 Peter 5:7 as I continue growing here and learning to truly trust the Lord and His next steps for me. I’m just grateful for the beautiful moments, the hard ones, the growth, and most of all, God’s grace through it all 🤍 taken in Los Angeles, California by @itsmariamq

It’s hard to believe it’s already been a month since Purpose in the Park 💗🌿

Looking back at these moments, we’re reminded of just how intentional God is. Every conversation, every prayer, every new friendship, and every moment spent in His presence pointed us back to one simple truth:

He’s not done with us yet.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve taken a step back to rest and reflect. And if there’s one thing the Lord has reminded us, it’s that a pause isn’t the same as giving up. Sometimes God uses stillness to prepare us for what’s ahead.

So if you’ve found yourself feeling distant, discouraged, or wondering if you’ve fallen behind, let this be your reminder: run back to Him. He’s still working. He’s still faithful. And He still has a purpose for your life.

Thank you to every woman who joined us, worshipped with us, prayed with us, and made this day so special. Watching strangers become sisters is exactly why The YBB Network exists.

We’re so expectant for what God has in store for the rest of 2026.

I didn’t expect to get so emotional at this event… but I did.

Pilates & Praise: The Anniversary stretched me in more ways than one. There were moments I was stressed, overthinking, wondering if everything would come together the way I saw it in my head.

But God…
He showed up in every detail.
In every conversation.
In every girl that walked through the door.

Watching women worship, open up, exchange numbers, laugh, and just be… it honestly overwhelmed me.

Because this isn’t just an event. It’s a space God is building.
A space for women in LA to grow, to be poured into, and to encounter Him. And even when it’s hard, doing everything behind the scenes. He keeps reminding me why this matters.

Proverbs 27:17 isn’t just something we read. It’s something we’re living.

A year of TheYBBNetwork but this is truly only just beginning 💗

Q1 2026 Acting Dump 🎭🎬 I booked my first acting job this day last year, April 1st 2025, so last year I didn’t even have an acting dump for the first quarter of 2025. Only By God’s grace that in Q1 2026 I booked a short film, a voice over on a short film, an episodic, a vertical series & multiple webisode bookings.
Thankful for all the auditions, the cast, the crew, the casting directors and booking teams who believe in me and who I get to work with!!
