Come hike an abandoned railway with us in Japan!!

It was our second time doing this trail, but it’s quickly becoming one of our favorites. It’s nice and flat, with just enough distance to challenge your little ones. He asked a million questions about the trains and railway along the way, which definitely helped keep him preoccupied!

I took the hiking carrier with me in case he wanted to be carried, but I think our carrier days are officially over (first Diamond Head, now the Old Fukuchiyama Trail…) 🥺

Here’s to many more hikes with my favorite hiking partner! 🥾🤍

Do you want to “live” in Tokyo, not just visit? 🇯🇵
If so, as someone who’s moved four times in four years, I’ll be the first to tell you that moving in Japan can be VERY costly!

BUT with @livesumii, there’s no key money or guarantor fees, making the move-in process super simple. Plus, apartments are available for stays from 1–12 months!

My son and I recently stayed in their 2-bedroom apartment in Hommachi, Shibuya, and would highly recommend for families!

my summer essentials as a mom living in japan 🇯🇵

the humid summers bring lots of mosquitos! now that it’s starting to get a little cooler in the evening, it’s been nice to hit the parks again but I made the mistake of not taking my insect repellent with me… and now I’m covered in mosquito bites 😭

if the mosquitos have gotten you too, the muhi patches offer active relief to stop itching!! by @itsmarinasaunders
